Sojourner Appoints Emily Fong Mitchell as CEO of Lornamead to Lead Company’s Next Phase of Growth

TONAWANDA, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lornamead Products (“Lornamead” or the “Company”), a diversified manufacturer and marketer of specialty oral care and personal care products, today announced the appointment of Emily Fong Mitchell as CEO. The Company also announced the retirement of Randy Sloan, the Company’s CEO for the last 18 years, as well as his appointment to Vice Chair of Company’s Board of Directors. Lornamead is a portfolio company of Sojourner Consumer Partners, L.P. (“Sojourner”).

Under Mr. Sloan’s leadership, Lornamead has become a leader in providing oral care solutions to retailers and brand owners, maintaining high standards with customer service, product quality, and employee safety, even during challenging periods from the Great Recession and global pandemic. He also earned a reputation as a consistently positive voice for the industry at various trade events.
