McLaren Partners with Hedera for Free Digital Collectibles

Key Highlights

  • Hedera is now an Official Partner of both the McLaren Formula 1 and Arrow McLaren IndyCar teams, with its logos featured on the race cars, driver suits, and team kit
  • This partnership comes with a free-to-claim digital collectibles program on the Hedera network, launching during every F1 Grand Prix weekend and expanding Arrow McLaren’s IndyCar collectibles for 2026
  • This partnership comes with Hedera’s growing list of institutional partnerships

On January 22, Hedera Foundation announced its multi-year partnership with McLaren Racing, a prominent entity from the world of elite motorsport. The announcement named Hedera as an Official Partner of both the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team and the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team.

The main purpose of this partnership is to transform how fans interact with the sport by using Hedera’s network to create new Web 3 experiences. These will include free digital collectibles and other branded activities, linking the precision of racing with the security of blockchain.

McLaren Joins Hands with Hedera to Expand Digital Engagement

McLaren Racing is one of the most successful teams in Formula 1 history, with 23 world championships to its name. The company now competes in several series, including Formula 1, IndyCar, and F1 Academy. Hedera is a public distributed ledger network, known for its hashgraph consensus technology, which is governed by a council of leading global companies like Google, IBM, and Boeing.

This partnership allows Hedera to showcase its fast and compliant network to a massive global audience through the high-visibility platform of motorsport.

As part of the deal, Hedera’s branding will gain prominent placement on the McLaren Formula 1 car, on driver race suits, on No. 6 and No. 7 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet Indy cars, and across the Arrow McLaren team kit. This ensures the partnership will be seen by millions of fans during race broadcasts worldwide.

Fan-First Digital Collectibles Program

This initiative for fans is a comprehensive digital collectibles program designed to be easy and free to join. Starting with the upcoming season, the premier British motor racing team and Hedera will release free-to-claim, motorsport-themed digital collectibles on the Hedera network during every Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend.

This effort also expands the Arrow McLaren IndyCar digital collectibles program for 2026. These digital items will offer holders access to exclusive experiences, prizes, and rewards.

Fans can access these collectibles through racing’s official Discord server, which is a setup intended to make the process simple for everyone. The companies have called this collectibles launch just the first phase of a longer-term plan. They intend to listen to fan feedback and develop more interactive activities that utilize Hedera’s infrastructure.

Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Racing, stated in the official announcement, “Innovation off the track is just as important as performance on it. Partnering with Hedera allows us to deliver cutting-edge Web3 experiences for our fans. We’re excited to welcome Hedera to the McLaren family as we continue to push boundaries on and off the track.”

Charles Adkins, CEO of HBAR, Inc, stated, “Working with one of the world’s most recognized sports brands is a big step for the Hedera ecosystem. It gives us a chance to show what Web3 can look like when it’s built on a network people can trust, and when it’s tied to experiences fans actually want. This partnership is the first phase of a longer program that we look forward to building together with McLaren Racing.”

Hedera’s Growing Momentum in Enterprise and Government

In order to expand its ecosystem, Hedera network has recently announced many partnerships to establish itself as a leading institutional blockchain solutions provider. In 2025, Hedera expanded its Governing Council, adding major corporations like Arrow Electronics and the consortium Blockchain for Energy in June. The global energy company Repsol joined the Council in December 2025.

Beyond energy, Hedera also formed key partnerships in regulated sectors such as finance and aviation. Collaborations with Truist Bank, the UK Civil Aviation Authority, and the Bank of Ghana highlighted its utility for official institutions.

Best Crypto to Buy as Saylor & Crypto Execs Meet in US Treasury Council

The post Best Crypto to Buy as Saylor & Crypto Execs Meet in US Treasury Council appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Michael Saylor and a group of crypto executives met in Washington, D.C. yesterday to push for the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Bill (the BITCOIN Act), which would see the U.S. acquire up to 1M $BTC over five years. With Bitcoin being positioned yet again as a cornerstone of national monetary policy, many investors are turning their eyes to projects that lean into this narrative – altcoins, meme coins, and presales that could ride on the same wave. Read on for three of the best crypto projects that seem especially well‐suited to benefit from this macro shift:  Bitcoin Hyper, Best Wallet Token, and Remittix. These projects stand out for having a strong use case and high adoption potential, especially given the push for a U.S. Bitcoin reserve.   Why the Bitcoin Reserve Bill Matters for Crypto Markets The strategic Bitcoin Reserve Bill could mark a turning point for the U.S. approach to digital assets. The proposal would see America build a long-term Bitcoin reserve by acquiring up to one million $BTC over five years. To make this happen, lawmakers are exploring creative funding methods such as revaluing old gold certificates. The plan also leans on confiscated Bitcoin already held by the government, worth an estimated $15–20B. This isn’t just a headline for policy wonks. It signals that Bitcoin is moving from the margins into the core of financial strategy. Industry figures like Michael Saylor, Senator Cynthia Lummis, and Marathon Digital’s Fred Thiel are all backing the bill. They see Bitcoin not just as an investment, but as a hedge against systemic risks. For the wider crypto market, this opens the door for projects tied to Bitcoin and the infrastructure that supports it. 1.
