Sliyd rewrites onboarding and completes the 100k Drop with one-click rewards and built-in learning

Sliyd, the one-click digital wallet built for instant rewards and simple onboarding, today announced the completion of the 100k Sliyd Drop – a campaign that delivered TOSHI rewards at scale, creating 100k new wallets on the BASE network via one-click rewards.

In a sector where many focus on scale and vanity metrics but struggle to create meaningful engagement, the 100k Sliyd Drop demonstrated a different approach: high-volume reward distribution that also drives verified user interaction and education.

The campaign saw users click a link and receive an instant TOSHI reward in a URL-based wallet. Another stage of the campaign saw users click a link and watch a short video to learn what Sliyd is and how it works, then answer a question based on what they’d just seen to unlock a reward. The result was a simple proof point for brands and Base-native projects: you can deliver rewards simply, at high scale, while getting real users to engage with your product and verify their engagement.

“The best advert is the one that doesn’t feel like advertising,” said Ian Mullins, CEO at Sliyd. “This campaign wasn’t just about dropping rewards – it was about proving a new standard for brand growth. When rewards are effortless and education is baked into the same flow, you don’t just create vanity metrics – you create loyal users who actually understand your product”.

Real traction on Base: 200,000+ wallets created via Sliyd

Alongside completing the 100k Sliyd Drop, Sliyd has now surpassed 200,000 new wallets created on Base, driven by users receiving rewards and sending digital assets to friends, all without the friction that typically blocks mainstream adoption.

Sliyd’s momentum is also being fuelled by its expanding reward experiences, including the launch of Sliyd Earn – a new section where users can earn rewards, such as Base ETH  and USDC, in exchange for engaging with short videos that highlight different projects and products.

Together, these mechanics point to a scalable model for new user onboarding and project growth: watch → learn → claim → repeat – designed to reward users for their time, data, and attention, while giving projects a better way to scale their marketing and educate communities.

Why this matters for crypto projects and brands

Random distribution of rewards and collectibles is easy and ineffective. Vanity metrics are hollow and valueless. Retention and understanding are not. In the Web3 sector, many marketing tactics, such as airdrops, create a spike in activity and vanity metric, then users vanish – because they were never given a reason to care and never buy into the product.

Sliyd is designed to change that dynamic by combining:

  • Instant reward delivery via link (no downloads required)
  • Optional education layers (short video + a simple question)
  • Mainstream-friendly onboarding that feels like the internet users already know

In practice, that means projects can use Sliyd to run airdrops that create awareness and comprehension, onboard users who don’t already have a wallet, and educate communities on a product or protocol without lengthy documentation. Sliyd powers rewarded engagement in a way that’s measurable and repeatable

“As more brands compete for attention, the winners will be the ones who respect the user,” said Ursula Young, Business Development Director at Memetiq Labs. “Sliyd helps teams turn marketing and incentivisation into education and education into retention. If you can deliver a reward in one click and help someone understand your product in the same flow, you’re not just running a marketing campaign – you’re building a community that sticks.”

Built for simplicity. Designed for scale.

Sliyd’s approach is intentionally straightforward: the link is the wallet. Users receive a link, open it, and their reward is there – ready to keep, share or use.

This simplicity is what makes Sliyd a strong fit for Base-native projects looking to onboard mainstream audiences without compromising on user control and security.
