PANews reported on January 28th that, according to a post on PANews, ZachXBT previously reported that John (Lick) was linked to a major case in 2024 involving the theft of over $90 million from addresses seized by the US government, and also to a series of thefts targeting multiple unidentified victims between November and December 2025. Monitoring revealed that John (Lick) has begun depositing funds into Tornado Cash, with 11,037 ETH (approximately $33 million) transferred to the mixer so far.
