First lady gushes over 'Melania' director accused of sex misconduct: 'He was the best!'

Melania Trump heaped praise on Wednesday on Brett Ratner, the director of her eponymous documentary, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by several women, and whose photo also appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Six women, including actresses Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge, have accused Ratner of sexual harassment, assault, and misconduct. Munn claimed Ratner performed a sex act on himself in front of her on a film set, while Henstridge alleged he forced her to perform a sex act on him when she was a teenager. Additional claims involved unwanted advances, groping, and witnessing assaults.

Ratner has vehemently denied all allegations through his attorney, calling them "outrageous" and "false."

Despite the serious allegations, the first lady gushed over Ratner during an interview on Fox News to hawk her upcoming documentary, "Melania."

Greg Gutfeld, a MAGA co-host of "The Five," asked her about Ratner's involvement on the documentary.

"How did that go? He hasn't - he hasn't been in... involved in movies in a couple of years. How does that - how is that relationship?" asked Gutfeld.

Melania Trump didn't skip a beat.

"Very good. He was very talented. I know that and box offices will tell you that he is very talented," she said.

Melania Trump acknowledged that while other directors were floated for the role, she had found the right person.

"I said, you know, the most important is that he puts out my idea, what I have, and cinematic film that I want to achieve. So he was the best one. And he was great to work with," she insisted.
