Pi Network Achieves Major Milestone: Over 2.5 Million Pioneers Cleared for Mainnet Migration

Pi Network is taking a significant step forward in its journey toward full Web3 adoption. Recent updates reveal that over 2.5 million Pioneers have now been unblocked for Pi Mainnet migration, and more than 700,000 previously ineligible users will soon be able to submit their KYC applications. This milestone highlights the network's growing readiness, user inclusion, and commitment to real-world adoption.

Mainnet Migration: What It Means for Pi Network

The mainnet migration represents one of the most critical phases in Pi Network’s development. Unlike test networks or simulated environments, the mainnet is where PiCoin transitions from being primarily a community-focused digital asset to a fully operational cryptocurrency with real-world usability. Successfully migrating millions of users ensures that the network can handle real transactions, maintain security, and support a scalable ecosystem.

The recent unblocking of over 2.5 million Pioneers is a clear indicator of network progress. Each verified user contributes to a stronger, more active ecosystem. Verified users not only validate the integrity of the network but also create opportunities for real economic activity, partnerships, and adoption beyond the digital realm.

Expanding User Inclusion Through KYC

User verification is an essential step for Pi Network as it prepares for full mainnet functionality. Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards while enhancing trust among users and partners. The fact that over 700,000 Pioneers who were previously ineligible will soon be able to submit their KYC applications shows Pi Network’s commitment to inclusivity and expansion.

This broader user base strengthens the ecosystem. Each additional verified participant increases transaction volume, contributes to network security, and supports a more resilient Web3 economy. By combining rigorous KYC processes with accessible participation, Pi Network is building a sustainable foundation for growth and adoption.

Strengthening Trust in the Pi Network Ecosystem

Trust is a cornerstone of any successful cryptocurrency. Users need confidence that their assets are secure, transactions are reliable, and the network operates transparently. Pi Network’s recent milestone in mainnet migration directly contributes to this trust.

Verified users act as a safeguard for the network. They validate transactions, participate in consensus mechanisms, and ensure that the ecosystem remains healthy and functional. As the number of verified participants grows, so does the overall integrity and credibility of Pi Network.

Real-World Adoption: From Digital Coin to Functional Currency

The mainnet migration is more than a technical upgrade; it represents the transition of PiCoin into a functional, real-world currency. With more verified users ready to engage in transactions, the network is moving closer to enabling everyday use cases such as payments, commerce, and decentralized applications.

This milestone reflects Pi Network’s broader vision for adoption. By enabling secure, verified participation, the network lays the groundwork for meaningful economic activity. Users can contribute to and benefit from the ecosystem in ways that go beyond speculation, making PiCoin a practical tool in the emerging Web3 economy

The Role of Verified Users in Ecosystem Health

An active and verified user base is critical to maintaining a robust cryptocurrency ecosystem. Verified participants strengthen the network in several ways. They enhance transaction validation, increase engagement, and contribute to community governance. The recent progress in Pi Network’s mainnet migration demonstrates that the network is not only scaling technically but also socially, ensuring that more users can participate responsibly.

As more Pioneers complete KYC and join the mainnet, the network experiences higher activity levels. This increased participation supports innovation, encourages merchant adoption, and fosters partnerships that can bring PiCoin into real-world use. Each verified user becomes a building block for a stronger, healthier Web3 economy.

Looking Ahead: The Future of Pi Network

The mainnet migration milestone is a signal of what is to come for Pi Network. With millions of Pioneers now verified, the network is poised for increased adoption, new use cases, and enhanced credibility in the crypto space.

Future developments may include further integration with decentralized applications, merchant partnerships, and real-world utility for PiCoin. The combination of technical readiness and a growing verified user base positions Pi Network as a serious player in the Web3 economy, offering both security and practicality for its community.

Conclusion: Mainnet Migration as a Milestone for Adoption

Pi Network’s progress in unblocking over 2.5 million Pioneers and preparing 700,000 more for KYC submission marks a significant advancement toward real-world adoption and ecosystem stability. Each verified participant strengthens trust, increases activity, and contributes to a healthier, more resilient network.

As PiCoin transitions from a community-focused digital asset to a functional cryptocurrency, the mainnet migration demonstrates that Pi Network is not just a theoretical project but a working, scalable, and inclusive ecosystem. The milestone represents a major step toward shaping the future of digital finance, where verified participation, real transactions, and community engagement drive sustainable growth in the Web3 era.

For crypto enthusiasts and investors, Pi Network’s mainnet migration highlights the importance of verified users, functional adoption, and long-term ecosystem health, marking a pivotal moment in the evolution of PiCoin and the broader Web3 economy.

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
