PANews reported on February 4th that, according to Jinshi News, the U.S. Department of Labor stated that, with the continuing funding resolution now in effect, all departments of the Department of Labor have resumed full operation as of Wednesday, February 4th, 2026. Previously, due to the failure of the resolution to pass, the U.S. government partially shut down, and the Department of Labor announced a postponement of the release of the January non-farm payroll report, stating that the release date would be announced separately after operations resumed.
