Epstein offered 'fake wife' who was 'Jewish and trustworthy': report

A surprising email from the trove of newly released Epstein documents revealed that late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was seeking a "fake wife."

In an email dated May 21, 2016, Epstein received an email asking him if he still needed a pseudo spouse, Zeteo reported Friday.

The email address was redacted and included the following note:

"Hey Jeffrey, do you still need a fake wife? I might have found a perfect candidate. She is 50, Russian, speaks perfect English, has lived and worked in New York, Jewish and trustworthy. She is looking for a job. Should I propose it to her??? Xxx"

The email is one of more than 3.5 million documents released by the Department of Justice last week that has raised questions about the inner workings of Epstein's business and interactions with notable figures.
