Ethereum Foundation and SEAL Partnership
The Ethereum Foundation is supporting efforts to track and neutralize crypto drainers and social engineering attackers targeting Ethereum users by taking on sponsorship of the crypto security organization Security Alliance (SEAL). SEAL announced that it has launched the “Trillion Dollar Security” initiative with the foundation; the foundation is sponsoring a security engineer who will work with SEAL’s intelligence team.

SEAL protects crypto participants by sharing threat intelligence, incident response, and providing legal protection to white-hat hackers. The Ethereum Foundation noted that SEAL has done significant work against attacks. According to ScamSniffer data, drainer and phishing attackers have stolen nearly 1 billion dollars over the years, but with SEAL and other efforts, this figure dropped to a record low of 84 million dollars in 2025.
ETH Security Dashboard Details
With SEAL, the foundation has launched a dashboard that tracks Ethereum’s security across six dimensions: user experience, smart contracts, infrastructure, consensus protocol, monitoring, and social layer; 8-29 risk controls are monitored in each dimension. This strengthens the proactive protection of the ETH ecosystem.

SEAL stated that the Ethereum Foundation collaboration is the first step and invited other crypto ecosystems to similar sponsorships. This development may increase confidence in terms of ETH detailed analysis.
