Manus has introduced its AI Agents feature on Telegram, extending full multi-step reasoning and task execution directly into chat-based interactions. The company reported that the integration went live on February 16, 2026, and is accessible to all users across every subscription tier. By moving advanced agent capabilities into a familiar messaging environment, Manus aims to reduce friction for users who want to delegate complex workflows without leaving their daily communication tools.

According to Manus, the onboarding process has been designed to be nearly instantaneous. Users are able to scan a QR code, link their existing accounts in less than a minute, and immediately begin assigning tasks through chat. The company emphasized that the process avoids traditional technical barriers, as it does not require command-line usage, API credentials, or server configuration. This approach is intended to make AI agent experimentation approachable for both experienced users and first-time adopters.

Meta Platforms Inc.’s agentic artificial intelligence unit, Manus, gained widespread attention in March of last year and was later acquired by Meta Platforms Inc. in December. At the time of the acquisition, Meta stated that Manus would continue operating as a standalone product in the near term, while its underlying technology would also be integrated into Meta’s broader ecosystem, including Meta AI.

Manus Chief Executive Xiao Hong explained that becoming part of Meta would provide the company with a stronger and more sustainable foundation, while preserving the way Manus operates and how strategic decisions are made.

Full Agent Capabilities Within Chat

Manus clarified that the Telegram integration is not a simplified chatbot experience. Instead, the AI Agents deployed within Telegram run the same multi-step task engine available on the web platform. Users can submit voice notes, images, and documents directly through chat, with the agent handling transcription, analysis, and output generation automatically. This design removes the need for manual file transfers or external processing steps.

The platform offers two distinct model options within Telegram. Manus 1.6 Max is positioned for tasks that require deeper reasoning, extended analysis, or creative generation, while Manus 1.6 Lite focuses on faster responses for lightweight queries, summaries, and quick tasks. Both models are capable of completing end-to-end workflows, allowing a single request to move from input to final delivery without additional user intervention.

Continuity Across Web and Messaging

Manus stated that the Telegram deployment maintains continuity with its existing ecosystem. Projects, skills, and third-party integrations that users have already configured on the web platform remain accessible through the messaging interface. As a result, workflows established in a browser-based environment can be triggered and managed directly from a chat conversation.

The company highlighted a range of practical use cases to demonstrate the scope of the integration. These include automated meeting preparation that draws on connected email tools, profile image generation, and product content creation derived from user-submitted photos. Manus indicated that a single chat prompt can initiate research, execute code, generate documents, and deliver completed outputs within the same conversation thread.

Privacy and Data Access Considerations

On the topic of privacy, Manus explained that its AI Agents are restricted to content explicitly sent to them by users. The agents do not have visibility into other Telegram conversations, group chats, or contact lists. This limitation is intended to reassure users that the integration operates within clearly defined boundaries and does not extend beyond direct interactions with the agent.

In a separate update, Manus co-founder Tao Zhang shared on X that the company plans to significantly speed up the rollout of Manus Agents across major messaging platforms over the next 30 days. Support is expected to arrive soon for WhatsApp, LINE, Slack, and Discord.

In addition, Manus is preparing to launch native applications for Windows and Mac. The company is also working on new capabilities that would allow Manus to operate users’ personal computers on their behalf, further expanding its role as an AI-driven assistant across devices and platforms.

Market Context and Ecosystem Outlook

In terms of market context, Manus noted that its MANUS token was trading at roughly $0.00003231 with a market capitalization near $32,000 as of mid-February 2026, based on data from OKX. The company acknowledged that the token remains thinly traded, with noticeable price variations across different exchanges.

Telegram represents the first messaging platform to receive full Manus AI Agents integration. Manus indicated that additional messaging platforms are under development, suggesting a broader strategy to embed AI agents wherever users already communicate. For existing users, the Telegram rollout adds a layer of convenience by bringing advanced automation into everyday chats. For new users, the zero-setup model lowers the barrier to trying AI-driven task execution, although Manus acknowledged that long-term adoption will depend on whether chat-based workflows can consistently match the depth and flexibility of the web experience.
