NEW YORK & LONDON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pantheon, a leading global private markets investor, is pleased to announce the promotion of four new Partners through its annual promotions, which recognize the contribution of professionals across all levels to meeting the evolving needs of its institutional and private wealth clients around the world and supporting the continued growth and success of its business.

The new Partner promotions bolster senior leadership in our Investment and Client Solutions Teams:

  • Scott Hong was promoted to Partner in Pantheon’s Client Solutions Team. He is Head of South Korea and leads Pantheon’s client engagement in the region. Scott is based in Korea and joined Pantheon in 2021.
  • Victor Mayer was promoted to Partner in Pantheon’s Client Solutions Team, where he leads Pantheon’s international private wealth team. He is currently based in Singapore and joined Pantheon in 2021.
  • Kunal Sood was promoted to Partner in Pantheon’s Asia Investment Team. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing investment opportunities across the Asia Pacific region. Kunal is based in Singapore and joined Pantheon in 2013.
  • Ana Zarruk was promoted to Partner in Pantheon’s Client Solutions Team. Ana leads Pantheon’s client development and relations in Latin America. She is based in Bogota and joined Pantheon in 2012.

Biographies

Scott Hong, Partner, Client Solutions

Scott is Head of South Korea in Pantheon’s Client Solutions Team. Prior to joining Pantheon, he worked in the Business Development team at Capital Dynamics focusing on investor relations and capital raised from Korean institutional investors, before which he was an investment manager at Dominus Investment, a Seoul-based private equity firm. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, as well as professional designations of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Victor Mayer, Partner, Client Solutions

Victor is a member of Pantheon’s Client Solutions team, where he leads Pantheon’s international private wealth team. Prior to joining Pantheon, Victor was a Director at HSBC Alternatives Ltd, where he worked on primary fund investments, secondaries and co-investments across private equity, private credit and impact. Before that, he spent three years at Access Capital Partners in Paris, having started his career in transaction services at Deloitte in Luxembourg. Victor holds a master’s degree in Corporate Finance from ESSCA in France.

Kunal Sood, Partner, Asia Investment Team

Kunal is a Partner in Pantheon’s Asia Investment team and member of Pantheon’s Global Primaries Investment Committee. Kunal leads sourcing, evaluation, completion and monitoring of primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities across Asia Pacific markets and sits on several LP Advisory Boards in the region. Prior to joining Pantheon, Kunal was at a middle-market direct private equity investment firm, before which he worked at CITI Group and ICICI Bank. He has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and prior to that a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Kunal chairs the Limited Partners Council and is member of Secondaries Group for the India Venture Capital Association (IVCA).

Ana Zarruk, Partner, Client Solutions

Ana is a member of Pantheon’s Client Solutions team servicing Latin American institutional investors. She is also a member of the GPCA Latin America Council. Prior to joining Pantheon, she was an investment professional at Tribeca Asset Management and Corficolombiana, Colombia’s largest financial corporation. She has also worked on a number of projects at Credit Suisse’s Financial Sponsors Group, Actis, and LPEQ (now LPeC), the listed private market advocacy based in London. Ana graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and holds an MBA from London Business School. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
