Political observers and analysts mocked a new video posted by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Tuesday showing him working out with musician Kid Rock.
In the video, Kennedy and Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, are lifting weights and working out together. The video is set to Kid Rock's song "Bawitdaba" and shows Kennedy getting into a cold plunge and jumping into a pool while wearing jeans. The two men also share a glass of whole milk together while sitting in a hot tub.
"I’ve teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD," Kennedy posted on X.
The Department of Health and Human Services reposted the video on X under the caption "BawitMAHA," in reference to Kennedy's Make America Healthy Again campaign.
Political observers mocked the video on social media.
"They’re so f------ weird," Reed Galen, host of the "Join the Union US" podcast, posted on X.
"Just yearning for normal over here," Sam Stein, managing editor of The Bulwark, posted on X.
"REAL FOOD ≠ COCAINE," filmmaker Lauren Windsor posted on X.
"What the [bleep] did I just watch?" former Trump spokesperson Alyssa Farah Griffin posted on X.
