David Solomon, Goldman Sachs CEO, attended the World Liberty Forum, where he said that he was watching bitcoin closely. His statement comes at a time when BTChas dropped below $67k and is likely to make little movements in the next 3 months. However, a couple of bullish sentiments from notable personalities have re-ignited optimism around the token.
David Solomon took the stage during the World Liberty Forum and confirmed that he holds a small amount of bitcoin. Calling himself an observer of the token, he added that he was watching it closely to understand how it moves. David expressed his confidence in tokenization by saying that it could play a central role in market structure.
The CEO of Goldman Sachs further said that the crypto involvement of Goldman Sachs is limited, with their move majorly driven by prohibitive regulation. Notably, David Solomon negated speculation that traditional banks and the crypto sphere were in conflict. He actually underlined that both were a part of an evolving ecosystem.
David’s statement has come at a time when the token is experiencing a bear run. It traded below $67k for a long time before finding some space at $67,173.78. It remains down by 0.87% over the last 24 hours and 26.22% in the last 7 days.
Adding worries to the ongoing bearish sentiments around BTC is a forecast by Kalshi Traders. They have put forward a 50% chance for the crypto to go as low as $45,000 in 2026.
The closest projection reflects a similar sentiment. It shows BTC to surge only by 4.96% in the next 3 months to around $69,969, amid a very high volatility of 11.83%.
David’s main purpose, per the statement, is to understand how it works. In general, Bitcoin tokens still have a lot of attention because notable personalities from the space have expressed their bullish expectations. For instance, Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki recently said that he was bullish on the token.
World Liberty Financial Co-Founder Eric Trump said something similar in a media interaction. He stated that the token could reach $100,000 this year. He also acknowledged volatility as a factor but reiterated his optimism towards BTC.
