Kresus, a wallet and blockchain infrastructure firm located in the United States, made an announcement today about a strategic investment of approximately KRW 18 billion (roughly $13 million) from Hanwha Investment & Securities, which is considered to be one of the leading financial organizations in South Korea.
The investment supports Kresus’ growth of corporate digital wallet infrastructure, real-world asset tokenization platforms, and on-chain financial processes. It comes after the two businesses signed a memorandum of agreement during Abu Dhabi Finance Week in December 2025.
Kresus offers enterprise-grade digital wallet and RWA tokenization platforms and creates digital asset products for both consumers and organizations, including as seedless wallet recovery technologies and MPC-based security systems.
In order to improve its client-facing digital asset services and create real-world asset tokenization projects linked to current financial products, Hanwha Investment & Securities intends to use Kresus’ technology.
Product development, corporate deployments, and international collaborations will all benefit from the investment, according to Kresus.
Kresus is a blockchain infrastructure and wallet startup established in the United States that creates digital asset solutions for both individuals and organizations. In addition to business solutions that enable digital wallets, tokenized assets, and on-chain financial processes, its services include the Kresus Wallet and mini-app experiences for consumers.
