PANews reported on February 26th that, according to Fortune , London-based startup Callosum announced the completion of a $ 10.25 million funding round, led by Plural , with R&D funding from ARIA . Founded by two Cambridge neuroscience PhDs, the company develops software that schedules AI workloads across different chips, including Nvidia , AMD , AWS Trainium/Inferentia , Cerebras , and SambaNova , focusing on multi-cloud and multi-chip collaboration. Callosum claims its system achieves approximately 2x accuracy, 7x speed, and 4x cost reduction compared to single-hardware solutions in complex enterprise tasks. The company is currently collaborating with data center infrastructure vendors specializing in new photonic interconnects and plans to expand into the US market and build some of its own hardware infrastructure.
