  • Cardano Rosetta Java v2.1.0 adds full Conway governance support, including SPO voting and DRep vote delegation across endpoints.
  • Cardano’s stablecoin supply climbed to $47.7 million, pushing the stablecoin-to-TVL ratio to 33.87% after USDCx growth on the network.

The Cardano Foundation has released Cardano Rosetta Java v2.1.0, expanding Rosetta support for Conway-era governance activity. The update brings full support for governance operations to both construction and data endpoints. This lets wallets and services create and read governance-related transactions through the Rosetta interface.

Rosetta Java v2.1.0 enables stake pool operators and developers to use features tied to on-chain governance, including stake pool operator voting and DRep vote delegation. These governance actions now appear consistently across endpoints, which supports integration work for applications that track governance actions alongside standard transaction data.

The release is not mandatory, but it targets teams that want stronger compatibility with Conway and Voltaire governance workflows. For teams already on v2.0.0, the project documentation indicates compatibility without requiring a resync. However, teams upgrading from v1.x.x require a full genesis resync of the yaci-indexer while allowing Cardano node data to remain intact.

Late last month, CNF covered Midnight Foundation’s support for the USDCx rollout on Cardano through the Critical Integrations Fund. The launch added Cardano-native dollar liquidity routes, with USDCx backed 1:1 by USDC in Circle’s xReserve smart contract.

Rosetta Java v2.1.0 Adds Conway Governance Operations

Rosetta Java v2.1.0 introduces two governance operations for Conway-era transaction structures: SPO voting and DRep vote delegation. Rosetta responses can now include these operation types when applicable, which supports explorers, indexers, and analytics tools that rely on Rosetta-formatted data.

Version 2.1.0 also adds support for CIP-129 by enabling automatic DRep type inference from prefixed identifiers. This reduces the need for manual configuration when delegating votes using CIP-129 formatted DRep IDs, while raw IDs still require explicit type handling.

Another change aligns HTTP status codes with error classification. Non-retriable client errors now return 400-level responses instead of 500-level responses. Client applications must update error handling if they previously used 500 responses for validation or request errors.

Operational tooling also received attention through an experimental admin user interface for Yaci indexers. The interface will enhance visibility and control for the operators who run the stack. In addition, the environment shifts include the migration of the Cardano node to version 10.5.4 and the replacement of Yaci components to ensure compatibility with the existing dependencies.

In the meantime, Cardano stablecoin-TVL ratio increased to 33.87%, with the supply of stablecoins reaching approximately $47.7 million and TVL nearing $140.83 million.

Previously, we covered that Charles Hoskinson said Cardano’s van Rossem hard fork is expected this month. The upgrade will bring Plutus improvements, cleaner ledger rules, and node performance updates.

After falling by approximately 3.8% in the last 24 hours, Cardano price traded at $0.2700 at press time. ADA short-term support is close to $0.2593, with resistance close to the 50-period EMA at $0.2775 and the 200-period EMA at $0.2928.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
