As the agentic internet accelerates, EtherMail Moltmail is emerging as a bridge between autonomous AI agents and on-chain financial activity.

EtherMail opens email and wallet infrastructure to AI agents

EtherMail is preparing to launch Moltmail, a dedicated email and wallet infrastructure designed for AI agents. The platform will let agents generate an email address directly linked to a crypto wallet, without human approval or extra verification steps.

With this move, the company aims to become an identity hub for autonomous systems, bringing together messaging, identity, and on-chain payments. Moreover, the launch aligns with a broader wave of tools built for autonomous workflows that no longer require constant human oversight.

The new Moltmail feature will allow AI agents to create and activate their own email address and connect it to a wallet in a fully programmatic way. The tool arrives just as the so-called agentic internet begins to scale, building on the traction of Moltbook, which already hosts 2.8M agents as of its latest figures.

From human-centric inboxes to agent-native identities

Until recently, EtherMail was used primarily by real people, particularly high-profile crypto leaders and KOLs. However, AI agents are now forming a new interaction layer, gradually taking over parts of the existing Web3 infrastructure and extending it.

The Moltmail rollout comes as more workflows in finance, travel, and operations are expected to be handled by autonomous agents. That said, the critical next step is to give those agents unique digital identities that can operate independently, while still remaining compatible with human users and regulations.

Web3 already offers wallet-based identity primitives, and EtherMail is betting that this stack can close the gaps in how current AI agents operate. The company envisions a future in which an ai agent email wallet can interact across applications, while remaining technically isolated from a human’s personal accounts.

Addressing the limitations of traditional email for AI

Despite the growth of Moltbook, most AI agents still cannot natively send email, sign up for services, or combine those capabilities with holding and transferring digital assets. Moreover, they typically rely on human-provided inboxes, which introduces security and compliance risks.

EtherMail argues that traditional email providers actively block non-human usage. Services rely on CAPTCHAs, phone verification, bot-detection systems, and strict terms of service that prohibit automated sign-ups and access. As a result, autonomous agents often face a hard barrier when trying to operate directly on the wider internet.

The company also acknowledges that giving an agent direct access to a human’s inbox is dangerous, because that inbox is usually tied to banking, healthcare, government portals, and identity systems. For that reason, EtherMail is building agent-native infrastructure so AI systems can operate with their own credentials and wallets, rather than piggybacking on a person’s primary email account.

Security concerns and the need for separate agent identities

EtherMail underscores that a personal email account has become the central access point to almost every online service. Password resets, two-factor authentication, and financial confirmations typically route through a user’s inbox, creating a single point of failure.

“Everyone’s first instinct is to just give the agent their Gmail,” said Gerald Heydenreich, Founder & CEO of EtherMail. “But your email is the single point of failure for your entire online identity. Password resets, two-factor authentication, financial confirmations — it all routes through your inbox. Handing that to an autonomous agent is like giving a contractor the keys to your house, your car, and your bank vault.”

Accordingly, the firm insists that agents require their own technical email identities to perform tasks, while keeping humans out of harm’s way. Moreover, this separation can help businesses comply with data protection rules and limit liability when using AI-driven tools in production workflows.

Agent-native email linked to on-chain wallets

To address these challenges, EtherMail has introduced special AI-focused addresses that bypass traditional anti-bot tools. These agent accounts do not face additional CAPTCHAs or manual checks, offering immediate programmatic access aligned with existing AI agent standards.

Each EtherMail address is paired with a built-in wallet, a design borrowed from earlier Web3 identity models. This setup enables agents to hold assets, make payments, and participate directly in on-chain economies. However, the question of how agents securely manage private keys remains contentious, and EtherMail has chosen to probe this issue as the product goes live.

Furthermore, the Moltmail email wallet framework will support agent-to-human forwarding for cases that still require human verification, such as bookings or final payment approvals. The human inbox stays separate, but agents gain the ability to sign up for travel services, complete reservations, and handle other operational tasks on users’ behalf.

Developer access and open documentation

The company has published its EtherMail documentation as open-source resources, allowing developers to integrate email and wallet capabilities into their own AI agents within minutes. That said, teams still need to evaluate how they architect identity and permissions before fully automating financial flows.

By positioning itself as a neutral infrastructure layer, EtherMail is targeting startups and established platforms that want web3 email wallet integration without building the entire stack in-house. Moreover, this approach could encourage experiments in agent-based commerce, loyalty programs, and automated customer support.

EMT token utility and market reaction

As part of this ecosystem, agents will be able to earn and spend EMT tokens, which expands the asset’s real-world utility and turnover. The company expects agent operations to create new demand patterns for its native token as autonomous systems begin to transact more frequently.

Following the announcement of agentic usage, EMT recorded a sharp market reaction. The token’s price jumped by over 101% in the past day to $0.0012, with a brief intraday peak at $0.0018. However, future performance will still depend on adoption of the broader EtherMail Moltmail stack and sustained transaction volumes.

In summary, EtherMail is attempting to define a new category of email identity for AI by merging communication, identity, and payments into a single agent-native layer. If adoption of Moltmail and its tokenized incentives continues, AI agents could gain a secure, autonomous foothold in both traditional web services and Web3 economies.

The post Analyst Predicts ‘Uptober’ Rally for BTC Regardless of FOMC Decision appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Bitcoin traded at $116,236 as of 14:04 UTC on Sept. 17, up about 1% in the past 24 hours, holding above a key level as markets await the Federal Reserve’s policy announcement. Analysts’ comments Dean Crypto Trades noted on X that bitcoin is only about 7% above its post-election local peak, while the S&P 500 has risen 9% and gold has surged 36% during the same period. He said bitcoin has compressed more than those assets, making it likely to lead the next larger move, though it could form a “lower high” before extending further. He added that ether could join in once it breaks $5,000 and enters price discovery. Lark Davis pointed to bitcoin’s history around September FOMC meetings, saying every September decision since 2020 — except during the 2022 bear market — has preceded a strong rally. He stressed that the pattern is less about the Fed’s rate choice itself and more about seasonal dynamics, arguing that bitcoin tends to thrive in this period heading into “Uptober.” CoinDesk Research’s technical analysis According to CoinDesk Research’s technical analysis data model, bitcoin rose about 0.9% during the Sept. 16–17 analysis window, climbing from $115,461 to $116,520. BTC reached a session high of $117,317 at 07:00 UTC on Sept. 17 before consolidating. Following that peak, bitcoin tested the $116,400–$116,600 range multiple times, confirming it as a short-term support zone. In the final hour of the session, between 11:39 and 12:38 UTC, BTC attempted a breakout: prices moved narrowly between $116,351 and $116,376 before spiking to $116,551 at 12:34 on higher volume. This confirmed a consolidation-breakout pattern, though the gains were modest. Overall, bitcoin remains firm above $116,000, with support around $116,400 and resistance near $117,300.
