The following is a press release from She Talks Asia.

To mark International Women’s Month, She Talks Asia (STA) is excited to host the 10th She Talks Asia Summit entitled, “Better Together,” co-presented by GCash, Cetaphil, and Creamsilk, and powered by Globe.

Since its inception in 2017 with the inaugural conference “Every Girl Can,” She Talks Asia has been at the forefront of championing women’s rights and empowerment. In 2024, the Summit centered on “Breaking Stereotypes,” and the following year, it encouraged women to be “Brave, Not Perfect.”

Taking place on March 14 in Bonifacio Global City, this year’s STA Summit will celebrate and highlight the heart of the work they do: community.

Heading the event are STA co-founders Lynn Pinugu, Bianca Gonzalez-Intal, and Iza Wintle, who, both individually and collectively, have built meaningful communities. Lynn through Mano Amiga Philippines, Bianca through Paano Ba’To, and Iza through Aktor. Together, they continue to grow She Talks Asia as a space where women connect, learn, and lead collectively.

For the past two years, the STA stage has been honored with co-chairs who embody their values: award-winning broadcast journalist and UN Women Philippines Goodwill Ambassador Karen Davila, and 2015 Miss Universe, global icon, and advocate Pia Wurtzbach.

This year’s Summit will feature Hannah Pangilinan and Atom Araullo as co-chairs. Pangilinan, an athlete and content creator, will speak on building purpose-driven communities, while Araullo, an award-winning journalist and UNHCR National Goodwill ambassador, will lead a panel on how today’s social climate shapes boys and men.

The lineup of inspiring speakers also includes Melai Cantiveros-Francisco — comedian, top endorser, proud Bisdak, and mother of two — who will talk about honoring your roots, celebrating your community, and embracing what it truly means to live authentically.

The STA Summit will also include dedicated segments from its co-presenting brands: Cetaphil will host a session about being a Girls’ Girl, GCash will lead a conversation on financial empowerment and borderless work, and Creamsilk will lead a segment on authoring one’s self-becoming. The 2026 STA Summit will also introduce breakout sessions focused on play and movement, to give participants a grounded and well-rounded experience beyond the main stage.

What sets She Talks Asia’s events apart is the aim to translate advocacy into action. Ticket sales proceeds are dedicated to sponsoring a scholarship fund for girls. To date, She Talks Asia has donated over ₱2.9 million to Mano Amiga Philippines, a nonprofit school that provides high-quality education and sustainable livelihood opportunities to underprivileged communities.

Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For

The post Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Topline The Federal Reserve on Wednesday will conclude a two-day policymaking meeting and release a decision on whether to lower interest rates—following months of pressure and criticism from President Donald Trump—and potentially signal whether additional cuts are on the way. President Donald Trump has urged the central bank to “CUT INTEREST RATES, NOW, AND BIGGER” than they might plan to. Getty Images Key Facts The central bank is poised to cut interest rates by at least a quarter-point, down from the 4.25% to 4.5% range where they have been held since December to between 4% and 4.25%, as Wall Street has placed 100% odds of a rate cut, according to CME’s FedWatch, with higher odds (94%) on a quarter-point cut than a half-point (6%) reduction. Fed governors Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman, both Trump appointees, voted in July for a quarter-point reduction to rates, and they may dissent again in favor of a large cut alongside Stephen Miran, Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers’ chair, who was sworn in at the meeting’s start on Tuesday. It’s unclear whether other policymakers, including Kansas City Fed President Jeffrey Schmid and St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem, will favor larger cuts or opt for no reduction. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said in his Jackson Hole, Wyoming, address last month the central bank would likely consider a looser monetary policy, noting the “shifting balance of risks” on the U.S. economy “may warrant adjusting our policy stance.” David Mericle, an economist for Goldman Sachs, wrote in a note the “key question” for the Fed’s meeting is whether policymakers signal “this is likely the first in a series of consecutive cuts” as the central bank is anticipated to “acknowledge the softening in the labor market,” though they may not “nod to an October cut.” Mericle said he…
