PASIG CITY — The 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines Inc. is launching the country’s first masterclass on women’s health through fitness and nutrition on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Kilos PH, first and only Eleiko Certified Training Facility in the Philippines. In collaboration with the Powerlifting Association of the Philippines, this event aims to create the foundation and space for holistic wellness by empowering women to lift beyond limitation.
This half-day event plans to have masterclasses on the “mind”, “body”, and “soul” of Filipinas in sports. Each masterclass aims to delve into (1) existing mentalities and stereotypes surrounding women in fitness, (2) women’s health in integrating proper fitness and nutrition for strength-building, (3) cultivating a culture of sports beyond competition through opportunities in volunteerism and career integration. The event also plans to have a powerlifting workshop for participants to learn the critical techniques behind a powerful squat, bench press, and deadlift from a seasoned national Filipina powerlifter.
Filipina athletes, although well-celebrated in various fields of sports in recent years, are no strangers to the daily struggles that women in fitness face. From sexualized perspectives of athletic women to significantly less studies on the female biology in fitness, events like these aim to spotlight women for barriers to be broken, voices to be heard, and lessons to be learned across all demographics.
Although slots are limited for this event, you may still sign up to this event by filling up their registration form: https://bit.ly/yfphwmreg2026.
