Hergses made these remarks at a joint press conference with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Kaine, stating, "The United States is destroying the military power of the radical Iranian regime in ways never seen before." These comments came as a U.S. aerial refueling tanker crashed in Iraq, killing all four crew members.
