MANILA, Philippines – With a career spanning over 20 years, singer-songwriter Kitchie Nadal has established herself as rock royalty in the Filipino music industry.
With EPs and albums such as Kitchie Nadal, Drama Queen, and Love Letter, Kitchie has been instrumental in shaping Filipino alternative rock as we know it.
As a soloist and as a member of the Tanaw Collective with her fellow female rock icons, her music has resonated not just with listeners of her generation, but with those that came after, too.
Now, she’s returning with a new single: “Soundtrip.” To dig deeper into Kitchie’s upcoming release and the overall impact she’s made in the local music scene with her over two-decade career, Rappler multimedia reporter Juno Reyes is sitting down with the artist for a live Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Tuesday, March 24, at 1 pm. We’re inviting everyone to join us.
To join the AMA:
- Download the Rappler app for iOS or Android, and create a free account. The web version is also available here.
- Tap the app’s Community tab and join the Front Page chat room.
- Enter the Front Page chat room at 1 pm on Tuesday, and send your questions or thoughts there. A moderator will be steering the chat to guide everyone.
- We will read your chat room messages during our livestream of the AMA, and Kitchie Nadal will respond on-air. Watch the livestream on this same page or head over to Rappler’s YouTube channel.
