Hong Kong, 18th March 2026  ZEX PR WIRE —  The Hong Kong Web3 Festival just made a move that the blockchain community will be talking about for weeks. The festival has officially announced that SNZ will serve as a Co-organizer at its highly anticipated 2026 edition — and if you know anything about SNZ’s track record, you understand why this partnership carries real weight.

SNZ: More Than Just a Crypto Investment Firm

SNZ Participates as Co-organizer at Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026

Let’s talk about SNZ for a moment, because they deserve more than a one-line introduction.

Founded in 2014 — which, in crypto years, practically makes them ancient — SNZ is a crypto-native, research-driven investment company with a portfolio that spans over 200 projects. But here’s what sets them apart from the typical venture capital crowd: SNZ never just wrote checks and walked away. From day one, their team embedded themselves in the communities they backed, rolled up their sleeves, and got involved in the hard work of incubation and ecosystem building.

That kind of long-term thinking is rare in an industry that often prizes speed over substance. SNZ has quietly been one of the most consistent builders in the space, nurturing projects through market cycles that shook out plenty of fair-weather investors. Over more than a decade, they’ve built genuine credibility — not just a portfolio spreadsheet.

Now, they’re bringing that energy directly to the Hong Kong Web3 Festival as a co-organizer. This isn’t just a sponsorship — it’s a seat at the table.

The Festival That Keeps Raising the Bar

If you haven’t been following the Hong Kong Web3 Festival, here’s your catch-up.

Co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and HashKey Group, and organized by W3ME, the festival has been Asia’s premier crypto conference since its launch in 2023. Each year, it pulls together the most influential voices in blockchain, DeFi, crypto regulation, NFTs, and emerging Web3 infrastructure — not for hollow panel discussions, but for the kind of substantive, policy-shaping conversations that actually move the industry forward.

The track record is genuinely impressive. Across three editions, the festival has welcomed over 100,000 cumulative visitors, hosted more than 1,200 speakers, featured 350+ exhibitors, and organized over 400 side events. These numbers aren’t marketing fluff — they reflect years of earned trust from a global community that keeps coming back because the festival consistently delivers.

What Makes 2026 Different

Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026 runs from April 20 to 23 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre — one of Asia’s most iconic event venues, and fitting for a conference of this scale.

This year’s edition is on track to be the most ambitious yet. The speaker lineup will grow to up to 400 voices covering every dimension of the Web3 universe — protocol developers, institutional investors, regulators, founders, and futurists. Whatever corner of the crypto ecosystem you occupy, there will be conversations engineered for you.

Perhaps the most telling signal of how far this festival has come is who’s now showing up from outside the crypto world. Nearly 1,000 executives and corporate decision-makers from traditional finance and real-economy industries have already registered. Banks, asset managers, enterprise technology leaders — they’re here because they can no longer afford to sit on the sidelines of the Web3 conversation.

That convergence of crypto-native and traditional finance is exactly what elevates the festival from a great conference to a genuinely transformative platform.

Why Hong Kong Still Matters for Web3

There’s a reason this event is held in Hong Kong and not anywhere else.

Few cities in the world can claim Hong Kong’s combination of attributes: a deeply established global financial infrastructure, a progressive (and evolving) regulatory environment for digital assets, direct access to Mainland China’s massive market, and strong cultural and economic ties to both the East and the West. For Web3, that cocktail of factors is extraordinarily valuable.

The Hong Kong Web3 Festival was built to leverage exactly this positioning — serving as a bridge between the enormous market potential of China and the global momentum of Web3 innovation. Attendees don’t just get great panels; they get access to a genuinely unique intersection of capital, policy, and technology that no other city in the world can quite replicate.

With SNZ now joining as co-organizer, the 2026 edition adds yet another layer of depth — connecting the festival’s global reach with SNZ’s decade-long network of builders, founders, and institutional relationships across the crypto landscape.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
