PANews reported on March 19th that AI company Anthropic, through Claude, interviewed 80,500 users from 159 countries speaking 70 languages, surveying their expectations and concerns about AI. The results showed that approximately 19% of respondents hoped AI would improve "professional performance," 14% focused on "personal growth," about 11% expected to gain "time freedom" through AI, and nearly 10% saw it as a tool for achieving financial independence. 81% of respondents stated that AI has already achieved their vision to some extent, mainly focusing on increased productivity, cognitive collaboration, and accelerated learning. However, regarding concerns, approximately 27% pointed out that AI results are unreliable, 22% were concerned about employment and economic impact, about 22% worried about the erosion of human autonomy, and 16% believed that over-reliance on AI could lead to "cognitive degradation."
