Budget carrier Jazeera Airways has relaunched flights to six Indian cities after suspending operations at Kuwait International Airport due to the Iran conflict.

The airport was targeted by drones that hit the radar system on March 15, state news agency Kuna reported.

The flights will be operated through Qaisumah Airport in the east of Saudi Arabia.

While the Kuwait-based airline did not mention the city names, bookings are available for Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi.

All passengers travelling through Qaisumah Airport will need a valid Saudi Arabian visa, the airline said on its website.

Passengers will travel overland from Kuwait to Qaisumah on buses specially assigned for the trips, Barathan Pasupathi, CEO of Jazeera Airways, said in a statement.

From Qaisumah, passengers will board outbound flights to their respective destinations, he said, adding that incoming flights will follow the same route.

The airline is also operating flights to Egypt, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Turkey and the UAE.
