MANILA, Philippines – State witness and former Department of Public Works and Highways district engineer Henry Alcantara appeared before the Sandiganbayan 6th Division as a prosecution witness against former Ako Bicol representative Zaldy Co on Tuesday, March 24.
The prosecution said his testimony supposedly shows that Co is a contractor.
However, Alcantara did not speak on the witness stand as the prosecution adopted his affidavit and the defense did not cross-examine him.
