At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.09%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.41%, and the ChiNext Index fell 1.34%. The combined turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges fell below 2 trillion yuan, a decrease of 236.2 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. Across the board, market hotspots cooled down, and over 4,400 stocks declined.
