Trump raising 'You think he's crazy?' concerns about top admin official: author

Donald Trump is sounding the alarm on one of his cabinet members, according to a former biographer and author.

Michael Wolff is reporting the president has raised concerns over Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., calling aides and allies to check in on what people think of his tenure in the administration. RFK Jr has been head of the HHS since February 13, 2025, but just over a year into his tenure, the president is seemingly concerned.

"I know that he’s been calling around and saying to people, you know, ‘I hear people say, Bobby is crazy. You think he’s crazy?'" Wolff told The Daily Beast's Joanna Coles.

Despite growing concerns from the president, it appears Trump's attention is now on RFK Jr's relative, the outspoken Democratic Party candidate, Jack Schlossberg. JFK's grandson is set to run for an open House seat in New York, and has caught the eye of Trump, according to Wolff.

The biographer claimed, "He’s kinda enamored with this kid. I’m sure the poor guy does not want a Trump endorsement, but it really sounds like Trump is tickled by this.

"Trump has been saying, that guy seems like maybe he’s the real thing, he’s the grandson. The Trump thing is clearly, you know, RFK is a problem. Let’s push him this way. And then to praise the cousin—who is condemning him."

Trump's mood check on RFK Jr comes shortly after the Health Secretary made claims about the president's knowledge of geography.

"One time, he grabbed a placemat, turned it over, took a Sharpie, and drew a perfect map of the Middle East," Kennedy claimed. "Then he marked the troop strength of every country along each border on that map. It challenged a lot of the assumptions I had been told about him."
