PANews reported on March 30th that Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell stated: "For the Fed, it's important to stick to our job. We have no intention of going against any government or politician. Building great democracies is very difficult, but destroying them is much easier. The labor market faces challenges from long-term, trend-setting forces. Current job growth is very slow. We are very optimistic about the medium- to long-term outlook. Artificial intelligence is improving productivity. Three weeks before the FOMC meeting, I need to have a clear idea of what we will do."
