'Caught in 4K!' Immediate mockery as Usha Vance stumbles over whether she owns a MAGA hat

The internet had plenty to say on Monday after second lady Usha Vance appeared surprised during a recent interview when she was asked if she owned a MAGA hat.

During an NBC interview that aired over the weekend, Vance insisted that she was invested in the success of her husband, Vice President JD Vance. NBC anchor Kate Snow asked her if she owned a MAGA hat.

"Um," Vance replied, seemingly at a loss for words. "I don't really own any hats. I think I have a Disneyland hat, I want to say."

Vance appeared to laugh nervously after the question.

"I just wondered," Snow said.

"Not a hat lady," Vance added.

But people online were quick to remind Vance of the times she had worn hats.

"(Usha Vance owns multiple hats)," FactPost, the Democratic National Committee's rapid response account, wrote on X and shared two photos of Vance wearing hats.

"???" Anti-Trump group The Lincoln Project posted on X, sharing the photos of Vance in hats.

"Caught in 4K at that," user R. Saoirse, who self-describes as a disabled community advocate, wrote on X.

"Yea, she’s tryna find her escape route," filmmaker Crosby Tatum wrote on X.

"I believe what she wanted to say was 'no, I would never be caught in a MAGA hat. I’m just sitting here like a good little wife while my husband sells his soul for money and power,'" user Johnni, who self-describes as a nurse and former Republican, wrote on X.
