Bitcoin ETFs in Context: Daily Recovery After Heavy Selling

The March 30 inflow session arrived after a difficult final stretch to March. Daily data shows that following a strong $167.23 million inflow day on March 23, the week deteriorated rapidly.

March 24 shed $74.53 million. March 25 recovered $7.81 million. At the same time, March 26 and March 27 together saw $396.70 million in outflows.

The two-day selloff cut total net assets from $91.63 billion on March 25 to $84.77 billion by March 27. That’s a drop of $6.86 billion over two sessions.

March 30’s $69.44 million partially offsets that decline, lifting total net assets back to $85.47 billion. The cumulative net inflow stands at $56.00 billion. This remains below the recent peak of $56.54 billion reached on March 17.

Cumulative total net inflows for Ethereum ETFs ticked up to $11.53 billion. With this, total net assets at $11.51 billion and total value traded on the day at $1.05 billion.

At the fund level, Fidelity’s Ethereum Fund (CBOE: FETH) led inflows with $10.56 million across 5,230 ETH. This pushed its cumulative net inflow to $2.31 billion.

BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (NASDAQ: ETHA) recorded $9.76 million in outflows, equal to 4,830 ETH. That left its cumulative net inflow at $11.62 billion.

The remaining funds posted zero net flows. Grayscale’s ETHE (NYSE: ETHE) carries a cumulative net outflow of $5.18 billion.

VanEck’s ETHV (CBOE: ETHV) reported zero net flows. Franklin’s EZET (CBOE: EZET) and Invesco’s QETH (CBOE: QETH) also showed no activity. 21Shares’ TETH, Bitwise’s ETHW, and Grayscale’s ETH all recorded no flows on the day.
