SETZ (SETZ) Information
SETZ is a digital collectibles platform on the Base network. It issues limited-edition box sets that are sold onchain; each box contains packs, and each pack contains cards. Holders can keep a box sealed, trade it, or open it to reveal the cards inside.
Each card is backed by a basket of liquid ERC-20 tokens held in an onchain vault. The basket's composition is set per release, and a card can be redeemed for its share of the underlying tokens, which are released to the holder when the card is burned. Cards and sealed boxes are transferable and tradable on secondary marketplaces.
SETZ is the platform's native token and is one of the assets held in the collectible vaults, alongside other ERC-20 tokens selected per release. It is an ERC-20 token on Base with a total supply of 100,000,000,000, of which 15,000,000,000 is held by the token contract.
SETZ (SETZ) Tokenomics: Key Metrics Explained and Use Cases
Understanding the tokenomics of SETZ (SETZ) is essential for analyzing its long-term value, sustainability, and potential.
Key Metrics and How They Are Calculated:
Total Supply:
The maximum number of SETZ tokens that have been or will ever be created.
Circulating Supply:
The number of tokens currently available on the market and in public hands.
Max Supply:
The hard cap on how many SETZ tokens can exist in total.
FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation):
Calculated as current price × max supply, giving a projection of total market cap if all tokens are in circulation.
Inflation Rate:
Reflects how fast new tokens are introduced, affecting scarcity and long-term price movement.
Why Do These Metrics Matter for Traders?
High circulating supply = greater liquidity.
Limited max supply + low inflation = potential for long-term price appreciation.
Transparent token distribution = better trust in the project and lower risk of centralized control.
High FDV with low current market cap = possible overvaluation signals.
