1. How to check your KYC verification status


You can check your current KYC verification status in the following ways:

Web: Log in to the official MEXC website, click the User Icon in the top-right corner, and select Identification from the dropdown menu to view your verification status and detailed information.

App: Open the MEXC App and tap the User Icon on the homepage to enter the Profile. If you have already completed KYC verification, the page will display Verified. If you have not completed KYC yet, tap Complete KYC Verification > to enter the KYC page and proceed with verification.


2. What is the difference between primary KYC and advanced KYC?


MEXC offers two KYC verification levels to meet the needs of different users.

3. How long does KYC review take?


Under normal circumstances, KYC review can be completed within 15 minutes. However, depending on the complexity of the submitted information and the current review volume, some applications may take 8 to 24 hours to process.

4. What should I do if I see "KYC verification limit exceeded"?


To prevent abuse, MEXC sets a daily limit on verification attempts. Each account can apply for Primary KYC Verification up to 3 times per day and Advanced KYC Verification up to 3 times per day. If you receive a notice that the daily limit has been exceeded, please try submitting your application again after 24 hours.

5. What should I do if I see "You have already completed KYC verification on another account"?


If you see this message, it means your identity information has already been used to complete KYC verification on another MEXC account. According to MEXC policy, each user may complete verification for up to two MEXC accounts.

6. What should I do if my KYC information is incorrect or needs to be updated?


If you are still at the Primary KYC stage and notice that your information is incorrect, please proceed directly with Advanced KYC Verification. When submitting your Advanced KYC documents, you can upload the correct identification information, and the system will use the information provided in Advanced KYC as the final record.

If you have already completed Advanced KYC Verification but need to correct or update your information, you can submit a KYC Verification Update through the platform's self-service process. Please select the appropriate reason based on your actual situation, such as document expiration or information changes, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the submission. Once approved by the platform, your verification information will be updated accordingly.


7. Can individual KYC (Primary/Advanced) be converted to institutional KYC?


At present, MEXC does not support converting Individual KYC to Institutional KYC under the same account, or converting Institutional KYC to Individual KYC.

If you need to complete Institutional Verification, please use a new account to submit an Institutional KYC application. Please note that each company registration number can only be used to complete Institutional KYC Verification for one MEXC account.


8. Can I trade without completing KYC verification?


To comply with regulatory requirements in your region, not completing KYC verification may affect your access to certain services, such as deposits, withdrawals, and trading. For the specific services affected, please refer to the on-screen prompts.

Please complete KYC verification as soon as possible to access platform services and features and strengthen your account security.

9. What should I do if I receive the pop-up "Funds are restricted and cannot be credited. Please complete real-name verification before the funds can be credited"?


If you receive the pop-up "Funds are restricted and cannot be credited. Please complete real-name verification before the funds can be credited," it means that you have not yet completed KYC verification. In this case, please complete KYC verification as soon as possible to restore normal account access.

If you are unable to complete real-name verification, you can go to the Application for Return page and submit the required information to apply for the return of your restricted funds.

10. What should I do if I receive the pop-up "You have not completed real-name verification. Please complete real-name verification before continuing with withdrawals"?


If you receive the pop-up "You have not completed real-name verification. Please complete real-name verification before continuing with withdrawals," it means that you have not yet completed KYC verification. To continue using platform features, please complete KYC verification as soon as possible.

If you are unable to complete real-name verification, you may submit a Withdrawal Appeal Form through the official website's self-service channel and provide the required information to apply for a withdrawal. Once approved, your account will retain withdrawal and position-closing permissions only, and you will no longer be able to use other account functions.
