Recent security incidents have revealed a growing number of scams involving fake airdrop checkers and wallet security diagnostic websites. Attackers exploit users’ interest in airdrop eligibility, on-chain points programs, and wallet security by creating fraudulent websites claiming to offer wallet scans, authorization checks, or reward eligibility verification.
Many of these platforms imitate well-known analytics providers or security companies and encourage users to connect wallets and sign authorization requests. In reality, these actions may grant attackers wallet permissions or unlimited spending approvals. Once access is obtained, stolen funds can be drained later with little warning.
Users should remain cautious when interacting with any wallet-checking or airdrop-verification tool. Always use official project channels, carefully review authorization requests before signing, avoid granting unlimited permissions, and regularly revoke unnecessary wallet approvals to reduce security risks and protect digital assets.
