Why Maintenance Was Needed
As one of the first major exchanges to support Kaspa, MEXC handles exceptionally high transaction volumes — especially small deposits from miners. This has generated a large number of micro UTXOs (unspent transaction outputs), which created processing bottlenecks and delays in transaction consolidation and withdrawals.
To ensure long-term stability, we are transitioning core UTXO management to an upgraded proprietary system, significantly increasing processing capacity and reliability. To safeguard user assets and maintain service quality, intermittent availability of deposit and withdrawal services was implemented, which explains the recent periodic suspensions of KAS withdrawals.
Technical Upgrades
To fundamentally resolve these Kaspa chain operational challenges, our technical team has implemented a comprehensive system architecture redesign. We are migrating core functionalities, including UTXO management, from node wallets to our proprietary management system, which will substantially enhance processing capacity and service stability.
Maintenance Schedule
The system upgrade is expected to be completed within this week. We will communicate the exact service restoration time in a separate announcement based on the upgrade progress.
During this maintenance window:
