Crypto.com caps App crypto withdrawals at the equivalent of 10 BTC per rolling 24 hours, and Exchange USD withdrawals at $100,000 per rolling 24 hours for retail clients.
Crypto withdrawals are usually almost instant and should complete within 2 to 3 hours.
The limit most people hit first is neither of those numbers.

Key Takeaways
  • App crypto withdrawals are capped at the equivalent of 10 BTC per rolling 24 hours across all assets combined.
  • Exchange USD withdrawals are capped at $100,000 per rolling 24 hours for retail clients.
  • Crypto withdrawals are automated and normally complete within 2 to 3 hours.
  • Every new address must be whitelisted, and with the lock on it is unusable for 24 hours.
  • Switching that lock off also takes 24 hours, so there is no same-day route to a new address.
  • Since 1 May 2026, net Exchange USD withdrawals above $1,000,000 over a rolling 30 days carry 0.05%.

The limit that actually stops people

Read the forums and you will conclude that Crypto.com's withdrawal ceiling is the problem.
It usually is not.
The equivalent of 10 BTC a day is far above what almost any retail account moves, and $100,000 of cash per rolling 24 hours is not what blocks a $2,000 transfer.
What blocks it is a security feature working exactly as designed.
Add a new withdrawal address, and with the 24-hour lock enabled that address is unusable for a day.
Go into settings to switch the lock off, and Crypto.com states plainly that the change takes effect in 24 hours.
So the escape hatch runs on the same clock as the thing you are escaping.
That is a defensible design decision, because a lock you can disable instantly protects nobody against someone who already has your session.
It is also the single most useful thing to know before you plan a transfer, and it appears in almost none of the guides ranking for this topic.
Everything below comes from Crypto.com's own fee page and help centre, with the page date and the retrieval date attached to each block.

What are Crypto.com's withdrawal limits?

Crypto withdrawals in the App are limited to the equivalent of 10 BTC on a rolling 24-hour basis.
Cash withdrawals are limited by rail and by client type, starting at $100,000 per rolling 24 hours for retail.
Deposits are not capped in the same way.

Data verified as of September 10, 2026 against Crypto.com's official fee and limits page, bank transfer tab, retail and institutional views, which states it was last updated the same day, and against its official help centre articles for USD SWIFT withdrawals, USD ACH withdrawals, US retail Exchange ACH transfers and App fees and limits. Sources: official pages.
Three things in that table are worth pulling out.
The crypto cap is denominated in Bitcoin equivalent rather than in dollars, so a falling BTC price quietly raises the dollar value you can move and a rising one lowers it.
The cash caps are identical between the App and the Exchange, at $100,000 or 5 withdrawals a day, which tells you the constraint sits on the banking rail rather than on the product.
The minimums are not identical, and the gap is large in percentage terms: $1 for App ACH against $100 for Exchange ACH, and $100 for App SWIFT against $500 for Exchange SWIFT.
For higher tiers, Crypto.com publishes $500,000 per rolling 24 hours for retail VIP clients and $10,000,000 for institutional clients on USD withdrawals, and Prime users on the App SWIFT rail are documented at $1,000,000 a day and $30,000,000 a month with no fee.

How long do Crypto.com withdrawals take?

Crypto.com states that crypto withdrawal requests are automated, usually almost instant, and normally take no longer than 2 to 3 hours.
Its Exchange guide separately states that withdrawals to external wallets can take up to 2 hours.
Exchange ACH cash withdrawals are documented at 1 to 3 business days.
The mechanics behind those windows matter when a transfer looks stuck.
Deposits sit in cold storage, and withdrawal requests are processed automatically rather than by hand, which is why the normal case is fast.
You receive a withdrawal request confirmation email when the address is confirmed, then a separate notification once the request has actually been processed.
Those two emails are often mistaken for one another, and the gap between them is the entire processing window.
One quirk is worth knowing before you check a block explorer.
Crypto.com states that withdrawals are sent from an address that differs from your own deposit address, so the sending address on chain will not match anything you recognise.

Why does the 24-hour withdrawal lock work in both directions?

Whitelisting is mandatory for every new withdrawal address.
With the 24-hour lock enabled, a newly whitelisted address cannot be used for 24 hours.
Turning the lock off is itself subject to a 24-hour delay, which Crypto.com states explicitly.
Put those two facts together and the planning rule writes itself.
If you know you will need to move funds to a new address on a particular day, whitelist that address at least a day in advance.
There is no same-day path around it, by design.
The security requirements around the same step are documented in the same place.
  • Whitelisting a new address requires 2FA if you are on an untrusted device.
  • Making a withdrawal uses your passkey if one is set up, and requires 2FA plus an SMS one-time passcode if not.
  • Crypto.com recommends keeping the 24-hour lock enabled, and the lock is the reason a stolen session cannot immediately drain an account to a fresh address.
There is also a documented emergency procedure, and it is the one thing on this page worth memorising.
If you receive an email about an address whitelisting or a crypto withdrawal you did not request, Crypto.com asks you to contact support immediately through the in-app chat, where staff can disable crypto transactions, attempt to stop the withdrawal request, and change your passcode after verifying your identity.
That is a real kill switch, and it runs through the in-app chat rather than any phone number.

What changed for USD withdrawals on 1 May 2026?

Since 1 May 2026, Exchange USD withdrawals carry a charge based on your net USD withdrawn over a rolling 30-day window.
Net withdrawals at or below $1,000,000 are free, and the portion above $1,000,000 costs 0.05%.
The window rolls continuously and does not reset at the start of a calendar month.
Two mechanics decide whether this rule ever touches you.
The figure is net, so USD deposits and net USD received from over-the-counter trades reduce your rolling total.
USDC withdrawn on chain is not charged under this rule at all, which gives a large dollar holder a route that sidesteps it entirely.
The daily caps published alongside the charge are the ones quoted earlier: $100,000 per rolling 24 hours for retail, $500,000 for retail VIP, $10,000,000 for institutional.
For a retail reader this rule will almost never bite.
It matters because it stacks on top of the flat rail fee rather than replacing it, so a large withdrawal can carry both a per-wire charge and a percentage.
We break the fee side of all of this down separately, including the per-coin withdrawal fee table and what a $1,000 buy actually costs, in our companion piece on Crypto.com's fee structure.

What are the minimum withdrawal amounts?

Crypto.com publishes a minimum withdrawal amount for every coin and every network on its Exchange fee and limits page.
The minimums are small in absolute terms, and the fee attached to them is not.
On almost every route, the published fee is exactly half the published minimum.

Withdraw the minimum on one of those routes and the fee takes half of what you send.
The practical rule is to treat the published minimum as a technical floor rather than a sensible transfer size.
Network choice matters far more than timing here, and the routing problem is the same one we mapped across platforms in which exchanges charge the least to withdraw and which USDT routes overpay.
Two published conditions round out the picture.
Reversing an incorrect on-chain withdrawal costs 50 USDC each time.
Crypto.com also states that quoted fees are estimates based on network conditions and that the final figure can differ during congestion.

Why is my Crypto.com withdrawal blocked?

Six documented causes cover the cases we see raised most often, and none of them requires calling anyone.
The one that catches most people planning a transfer is a newly whitelisted address still inside its 24-hour lock.
The next is an incomplete security step rather than a limit.
  • The address is new. With the lock enabled, a freshly whitelisted address is unusable for 24 hours, and disabling the lock takes another 24 hours.
  • The address is not whitelisted at all. Whitelisting is required for every new destination.
  • A security step is unfinished. Withdrawals need a passkey, or 2FA plus an SMS one-time passcode, and whitelisting on an untrusted device needs 2FA.
  • Verification is pending or restricted. Full access to Exchange services has required a valid identity document and photo since 31 December 2020.
  • The rolling limit is used up. Both the 10 BTC equivalent crypto cap and the cash caps run on rolling windows rather than resetting at midnight.
  • The network or destination is wrong. Each asset lists specific supported networks with their own minimums, and a mismatch fails rather than converts.
One warning belongs here, because this is where readers of this topic get hurt.
Support for a blocked withdrawal runs through the in-app chat, which is the channel Crypto.com's own help centre names for the emergency procedure above.
While researching this article on September 10, 2026, we found pages ranking for Crypto.com withdrawal queries that displayed telephone numbers formatted to look like support hotlines, hosted on a free site builder rather than on any Crypto.com domain.
A blocked withdrawal is exactly the moment somebody wants you to call a stranger and read out a code.
Use the in-app chat, and never share a one-time passcode with anyone.

Can you withdraw where you live?

Withdrawal rails and caps are set per jurisdiction, and so is platform availability.
Crypto.com publishes region-specific fiat rails and states that products on its Exchange site and app are restricted by jurisdiction.
Before the comparison in the next section, the eligibility position needs stating plainly.
United States and United Kingdom readers.
MEXC does not serve users in the United States or the United Kingdom, so the comparison below is reference material rather than a recommendation to open an account.
If you are choosing where to hold funds in either country, work from your own regulator's register of authorised firms, which for the United Kingdom means the Financial Conduct Authority and for the United States means the state and federal registrations covering the product you want.
European Economic Area readers.
Nothing here should be read as suggesting MEXC holds a licence under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets framework, because it does not.
Canada and India readers.
Treat the next section as information about published withdrawal policies rather than a venue recommendation, and check local availability for both platforms first.

How do the published limits compare?

Crypto.com publishes a single combined crypto cap of 10 BTC equivalent per rolling 24 hours for App users, with no cap expressed by verification level.
MEXC publishes its crypto withdrawal caps by verification level: 80 BTC a day at Primary KYC and 200 BTC a day at Advanced.
Both publish deposits as uncapped.

Why an eight times higher ceiling is not the point

The honest reading of that table is that both ceilings are far above what a retail account moves.
80 BTC a day against 10 BTC a day is a real difference, and for most readers it will never be the binding constraint.
What is binding is knowing the number in advance.
MEXC publishes the ceiling against the verification level, so you can see before submitting documents whether the account will carry what you intend to move.
The official MEXC KYC FAQ states 80 BTC a day of crypto withdrawals at Primary KYC and 200 BTC a day at Advanced, with crypto deposits unlimited at both levels and fiat access moving from peer-to-peer at Primary to 20,000 USD a day at Advanced.
Turn that into the situation this article is really about.
You need to move funds to a new self-custody address this week.
On Crypto.com the published path is: whitelist the address, wait 24 hours if the lock is on, then withdraw within a 2 to 3 hour processing window, against a combined ceiling of 10 BTC equivalent per rolling 24 hours.
If you only discover the lock on the day, the transfer moves to tomorrow, and switching the lock off does not help because that change also takes 24 hours.
The cost of that surprise is a day, and a day is the one thing a fee table never shows you.
MEXC's own limitations belong here in the same detail.
We did not find a published processing-time commitment for MEXC crypto withdrawals, so Crypto.com's stated 2 to 3 hour window is a disclosure we are not matching on a public page.
MEXC's KYC FAQ states that not completing verification may affect access to deposits, withdrawals and trading depending on the regulatory requirements in your region, so the unverified position is region-dependent rather than a single published allowance.
Each identity can verify a maximum of two MEXC accounts, and if you cannot complete verification the documented route is a withdrawal appeal that, once approved, leaves the account with withdrawal and position-closing permissions only.
We set out the verification requirements and review windows on both platforms in more detail alongside this piece, and the standards behind every figure we publish are in our review methodology.

Where Crypto.com's withdrawal process is stronger

Three things Crypto.com does here are ahead of most of the field, and two of them we do not match.
It commits to a processing window in writing, at almost instant and no longer than 2 to 3 hours, which most platforms decline to do at all.
It publishes a per-coin and per-network minimum and fee table for its Exchange, at a level of granularity few competitors match.
It documents an explicit emergency procedure for unauthorised whitelisting or withdrawal emails, naming what support can actually do and in what order.
So the split is about what you are optimising for.
Stay with Crypto.com if you value a written processing commitment, a granular published fee table, and a strict address-lock default you are happy to plan around.
Look elsewhere if you need your withdrawal ceiling stated against your verification level, or if same-day transfers to new addresses are part of how you operate.
For the full platform comparison rather than the withdrawal process alone, see MEXC versus Crypto.com on pricing and product depth, and for the wider field the Crypto.com alternatives compared on cost per trade.
Readers whose real concern is whether funds are safe rather than how fast they move will get more from which exchanges actually publish proof of reserves and what an exchange protection fund does not cover.
If you are comparing platforms before moving funds at all, our ranking of the top exchanges for 2026 is the shortlist, and our full MEXC review, including the catch covers ours in the same detail.

The MEXC View

We are MEXC, and we compete with Crypto.com for the readers of this page, so weigh this section accordingly.
Our position is narrow: Crypto.com's withdrawal limits are reasonable, its processing commitment is better than ours, and its documentation is organised around products rather than around the user's question.
A reader wants one number, which is what this account can move today, and answering it currently requires reading four separate help articles and a fee page with five tabs.
We think the 24-hour lock is good security and bad communication, because the detail that makes it consequential, that disabling it also takes 24 hours, sits in a different article from the one you find first.
Where Crypto.com is ahead, we have said so above, and the written 2 to 3 hour processing window is the clearest example.
We will not pretend our own position is simple either.
We publish ceilings by verification level but no processing-time commitment, our unverified position is region-dependent rather than a single number, and readers in the European Economic Area should weigh the ESMA listing noted above before anything else here.
Every figure carries an official source and a retrieval date, because limit pages change quietly and ours change too.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Crypto.com withdrawal limit?
App crypto withdrawals are capped at the equivalent of 10 BTC per rolling 24 hours.
Exchange USD withdrawals are capped at $100,000 per rolling 24 hours for retail clients.

How long does a Crypto.com withdrawal take?
Crypto.com states crypto withdrawals are usually almost instant and should take no longer than 2 to 3 hours.
Exchange ACH cash withdrawals are documented at 1 to 3 business days.

Why can't I withdraw to a new address?
New addresses must be whitelisted, and with the 24-hour lock enabled a newly added address cannot be used for 24 hours.
Switching the lock off also takes 24 hours.

What is the minimum withdrawal on Crypto.com?
It is set per coin and per network, for example 0.0008 BTC on Bitcoin and 20 USDT on Ethereum.
The published fee is half the minimum on most routes.

Why is my Crypto.com withdrawal pending?
Most often the address is inside its 24-hour lock, a security step is unfinished, or verification is pending.
Processing itself normally completes within 2 to 3 hours.

Did Crypto.com change its USD withdrawal fees?
Yes.
Since 1 May 2026, net Exchange USD withdrawals above $1,000,000 over a rolling 30 days carry 0.05%, with everything below that free.

Does Crypto.com have a phone support line for withdrawals?
Crypto.com's help centre directs urgent withdrawal issues to the in-app chat.
Phone numbers appearing in search results for this topic are not official support channels.

Which exchange publishes higher withdrawal limits?

Availability differs by region, so check eligibility first.

Risk and compliance notice

This article covers published withdrawal limits, fees and processing times, and is not investment, tax or legal advice.
All Crypto.com figures were read from its official fee and limits page and official help centre on September 10, 2026, and these pages can change without notice.
MEXC figures were read the same day from the official MEXC KYC FAQ, and limits may vary by region.
Processing times stated by any platform are expectations rather than guarantees, and network congestion, banking hours and security reviews can extend them.
Never disable a security feature because someone contacted you asking you to, and never share a one-time passcode.
Product availability, rails and caps depend on your jurisdiction, and neither platform is available everywhere.
Verify current limits on each platform's own help centre before you move funds.
