According to Odaily, Doctor Profit said on X that Bitcoin has broken above its 50-week moving average near $78,700. His analysis suggests Bitcoin remains within a $71,000–$82,000 range, while a further breakout above the $82,500–$83,000 area would provide stronger technical confirmation. Visa to close credit-card rewards loophole for Meme coin purchases
According to Decrypt, Visa is moving to close a checkout classification loophole supported by Crossmint. Some Meme coin purchases had previously been categorized under merchant codes used for digital media such as e-books, movies, and music, allowing them to qualify for standard credit-card points or rewards. Visa has notified payment processors, including Checkout.com, to stop using the relevant classification, with the grace period expected to end next week.
