MEXC Will Support BTM Mainnet Upgrade

Dear users, The BTM (Bytom) mainnet upgrade will be commenced at block height 709,660, with a system snapshot taken at around 23:15 on August 19, 2021 (UTC), according to <a target="_self">the official plan</a>. MEXC will support the upgrade and provide asset migration services.We will update all users about BTMC's status based on the upgrade progress by the BTM team. After the upgrade, the new token is still named "BTM," while the current one will be rebranded as "BTMC." The following arrangements are made to protecting users' assets by reducing trading risks brought by market volatility during the mainnet upgrade: 1.Suspension of Deposits & Withdrawals on the Current BTM Chain MEXC will suspend deposits & withdrawals on the current BTM chain at 13:00 on Aug. 19, 2021 (UTC). Please allow yourself sufficient time to complete your deposits and withdrawals before the suspension. We will update in this announcement when the deposits and withdrawals are ready to resume. 2. Temporarily delisting of BTM Margin Trading MEXC will temporarily delist BTM/USDT in Margin trading at 12:00 on August 19, 2021 (UTC). Please settle your loans before the delist otherwise MEXC will close the position automatically. We will update this announcement when the service is ready to resume. As the upgrade may come with dramatic price fluctuations that may lead to asset liquidation, we advise you to make prudent, informed decisions based on your risk capacity. 3. BTM Assets & BTM trading Remains Unaffected Users' BTM assets and BTM Spot & Futures trading will not be affected during the upgrade. Since the upgrade may come with dramatic price fluctuations, please make prudent, informed decisions based on your risk capacity. Note: 1. MEXC will take snapshots of users' BTM holdings at block height 709,660, which includes Exchange accounts, Futures accounts, and margin accounts (For BTM tokens that are borrowed but not repaid, the unpaid tokens will be deducted; the BTM interest that should be returned will also be deducted). The snapshot is expected to occur at 23:15 on August 20 (UTC), while the specific time will be based on the block height. 2. Considering the complex operation for the migration process, we recommend you deposit BTM to MEXC as early as possible. We will take snapshots and conduct token migration promptly based on the BTM official upgrade arrangements. The current BTM deposit address will become invalid during the suspension of BTM deposits (Please do not make any deposits during the upgrade. Otherwise, your assets will be lost).
