Offline Wonderland Wishes Event Connects Solitaire Clash Players and Foster Youth

Digital campaigns can do a lot, but the real meaning often comes when people gather in person. That idea guided AviaGamesWonderland Wishes Offline Charity Event, hosted with Foster Love on January 16, 2026, at the nonprofit’s facility in Brea, California. The event marked the final chapter of a five-week Christmas initiative that originally took place inside Solitaire Clash, and it invited the community to turn virtual support into hands-on action.

From In-Game Campaign to In-Person Support

Wonderland Wishes began on November 30, 2025, inside Solitaire Clash as a Christmas charity campaign powered by themed challenges and real wish letters shared by children supported by Foster Love. Each week is centered on a different category — toys, warm clothing, STEM and educational supplies, care kits, and bikes — reflecting common wishes seen during the holiday season.

With campaign ambassador Leo González helping connect players to the story behind the initiative, Wonderland Wishes evolved into a community effort. For every 100 Wish Stars collected, AviaGames donated $0.02 to Foster Love. By the end of the campaign, donations surpassed $136,000, a reflection of collective player participation throughout the five weeks.

But the campaign didn’t end when the app banners came down. Instead, AviaGames extended the experience outside the game, inviting up to 50 attendees — including Foster Love scholars, Solitaire Clash players, content creators, and AviaGames staff — to work together in person.

A Volunteer Event Built on Creativity, Teamwork, and Practical Care

The offline event transformed a digital charity initiative into a volunteer-driven day. Paints, tools, fabrics, duffel bags, bike parts, and educational kits filled the room as people settled in.

Instead of speeches and promotion, the focus was simple:

work together and make something meaningful.

Over two and a half hours, participants rotated through stations designed to support youth in the foster care system:

  • Sweet Cases — Personalized duffle bags decorated with artwork and encouraging notes, filled with comfort items such as teddy bears, blankets, hygiene products, and coloring materials.
  • STEM Boxes — Educational kits assembled with creativity, featuring hands-on learning tools and handwritten encouragement cards.
  • Bike Building — Small groups assembled bicycles with staff guidance, completed safety checks, and staged rows of finished bikes for distribution.

More Than Volunteering: Sharing Stories and Opening Doors

Between activities, AviaGames hosted a brief introduction to the gaming industry — offering an approachable look at how games are made and the roles involved, from design and writing to engineering and community support. The session encouraged curiosity, especially among scholars exploring future opportunities.

Throughout the event, informal interviews captured the voices and motivations of participants. Scholars spoke about resilience and community support, players reflected on the shift from in-app engagement to real-world action, and staff discussed what it meant to give back alongside the community they serve. Ambassador Leo González also shared thoughts on his connection to foster care through his mother’s history, grounding the partnership in something personal.

A Campaign With Impact Beyond the Holidays

What began as a seasonal event inside Solitaire Clash ultimately became a blueprint for how gaming communities can participate in social impact. Instead of ending online, Wonderland Wishes transitioned offline in a way that highlighted presence over promotion, effort over messaging, and collaboration over spectatorship.

By closing the campaign with an in-person volunteer event, AviaGames demonstrated how entertainment platforms can bridge digital participation with community engagement, creating outcomes that feel tangible and lasting for foster youth and their support systems.
