How to Link Google Authenticator to MEXC Account3.1 What Is Google Authenticator?MEXC/Google Authenticator is a dynamic password tool that works similar to SMS-based dynamic verification. Once linked, it generates a dynamic verification code every 30 seconds. The verification code can be used for secure authentication during login, withdrawals, and modification of security settings. It provides an additional layer of security when using your MEXC account.3.2 On the WebsiteLog in to the official MEXC website: www.mexc.com, click on the user icon - [Security], and select [MEXC/Google Authenticator Verification]. Download the authenticator app.For iOS users: Log in to App Store and search for "Google Authenticator" or "MEXC Authenticator" to download.For Android users: Go to Google Play and search for "Google Authenticator" or "MEXC Authenticator" to download.For other app stores: Search for "Google Authenticator" or "2FA Authenticator".Step1.  Open the downloaded authenticator app, scan the QR code on the page or copy the key and paste it in the app to generate verification codes. Step2.  Safekeep the key to be used for the recovery of MEXC/Google Authenticator in case you change or lose your mobile phone. If you want to cancel/delete your MEXC account, please follow the steps below:Open the mobile app and tap on the user icon in the top left corner of the homepage to access the personal center.Tap on "Security" and then select "Delete Account." To protect your assets, you will not be able to delete your account if your total assets exceed 5 USDT.Choose the reason for deleting your account and click "Proceed".Read the notice and check the box that says "I have read and fully understand the consequences." Then, click "Delete Account" to continue to the security verification page.Once you have successfully completed the security verification, your request to delete your account will be submitted. You can click the "Cancel Request" button at the bottom of the page to cancel your request.Once you have confirmed your account deletion, you will need to contact customer service to provide additional information.  Note:Deleting your MEXC account will result in the following consequences:After your account has been successfully deleted, you will not be able to log in to your original MEXC account.
