Dapp

Dapps are digital applications that run on a P2P network of computers rather than a single server, typically utilizing smart contracts to ensure transparency and uptime. In 2026, Dapps have achieved mass-market appeal through Account Abstraction, allowing for a "Web2-like" user experience with the security of Web3. This tag covers the entire ecosystem of decentralized software—from social media and productivity tools to governance platforms and identity management.

Pepe Memecoin Website Suffers Front-End Exploit: Web3 Cybersecurity Firm

Pepe Memecoin Website Suffers Front-End Exploit: Web3 Cybersecurity Firm

The post Pepe Memecoin Website Suffers Front-End Exploit: Web3 Cybersecurity Firm appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The official website for the Pepe (PEPE) memecoin has been compromised by attackers, who are redirecting users to a malicious link. “Blockaid’s system has identified a front-end attack on Pepe. The site contains a code of inferno drainer,” the cybersecurity company said on Thursday. Blockaid’s Threat Intelligence Team told Cointelegraph: “Blockaid detected Inferno drainer code on the Pepe front end, matching a known drainer family we regularly identify. This is a front-end compromise, where users are redirected to a fake site that injects malicious code to drain wallets.” Source: Blockaid Inferno Drainer is a suite of scam tools that is employed by threat actors, including phishing website templates, wallet drainers and social engineering tools. The price of PEPE did not react immediately to the hack. The memecoin is up by about 4% over the last 24 hours, but is down by more than 77% over the last 12 months, according to CoinGecko. Cointelegraph reached out to the Pepe team for comment but did not receive a response by the time of publication. This latest cybersecurity incident highlights the ongoing need for vigilance among crypto users as a defense against phishing scams and other cybersecurity threats. Users are encouraged to stay clear of the site until the issue is resolved.  Related: Memecoin market sinks to 2025 low as $5B wiped out in a day Inferno Drainer activity ramps up despite claims that the malware would go offline Inferno Drainer usage tripled in 2024, according to Blockaid, despite the team behind Inferno Drainer claiming that they would shutter the scam service in 2023. “At the beginning of the year, we saw about 800 new malicious Inferno Drainer DApps per week. Now, that number has tripled to 2,400 per week,” Oz Tamir, a former Blockaid engineer, told Cointelegraph in August 2024. Since that…

Solana Price Prediction: Key Resistance That Could Trigger a SOL Dip to $130

Solana Price Prediction: Key Resistance That Could Trigger a SOL Dip to $130

The post Solana Price Prediction: Key Resistance That Could Trigger a SOL Dip to $130 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Key Insights: An expert Solana price prediction expressed fear that the SOL price could break to $130 if it fails to sustain a key support. Solana is testing the $144 level again, which has blocked its several rallies earlier. Solana Mobile revealed fresh details about its upcoming SKR token. Solana price prediction is back in focus after one expert said SOL could push into the mid-$150 if it breaks through its next major barrier. The token traded near the $137 mark following a sharp 3% dip in 24 hours, after a recent rcovery from the losses that briefly sent it down to $123 last week. That rebound has also drawn institutional traders back into the market. Solana Price Prediction: Key Resistance Levels to Watch The latest Solana price prediction comes as SOL price tested the $144 level again. This area has blocked several rallies, and the latest attempt is showing the same hesitation. Buyers pushed the price up, but the momentum is fading. Right now, $144 is firm resistance. Each time SOL reaches it, sellers step in. The market still treats this zone as an important barrier. Until price breaks above it with strength, upside movement will remain limited. If SOL price fails here, $130 is the next key support. This level helped the last rebound and is the most likely target in a pullback. The projected path on the chart also points to a slow move lower if the rejection continues. Solana price still needs a strong move above $144 to push the trend higher. If that doesn’t happen, the chart makes a pullback toward $130 a realistic possibility. Solana Price Analysis | Source: Crypto_zerro Analysts Warn a Rejection Could Send Solana Price Back to $130 Solana price is still pushing into the resistance zone around $145. The chart…

Bitcoin Hyper Presale Hits $29M, 2025’s Hottest Bitcoin Ecosystem Launch

Bitcoin Hyper Presale Hits $29M, 2025’s Hottest Bitcoin Ecosystem Launch

The post Bitcoin Hyper Presale Hits $29M, 2025’s Hottest Bitcoin Ecosystem Launch appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Crypto Projects Takeaways: Bitcoin’s base layer remains slow, costly, and hard to program directly, leaving most $BTC holders unable to tap rich on-chain opportunities. The market is actively searching for infrastructure that unlocks DeFi, NFTs, and real-time payments on Bitcoin without compromising its settlement assurances. Bitcoin Hyper introduces the fastest Bitcoin Layer 2 with SVM integration, targeting faster-than-Solana execution for smart contracts and high-speed $BTC payments. The project’s token presale has raised over $29M to date, making it one of the year’s hottest presales. Bitcoin’s 2025 resurgence has been driven less by meme coins and more by a simple question: how do you actually put idle $BTC to work? Spot ETFs and custodial yield products scratched the surface, but on-chain, most holders are still limited to slow, expensive transactions and basic transfers. That gap has turned Bitcoin DeFi into one of the year’s most-watched narratives. Capital is hunting for infrastructure that finally lets Bitcoin act as more than digital gold, without sacrificing the security and trust that made it king. Ethereum and Solana proved what programmable blockchains can do, but $BTC’s trillion-dollar base remains largely underutilized. Branded as the fastest Bitcoin Layer 2 with Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) integration, it aims to deliver Solana-style throughput on top of Bitcoin’s settlement layer, opening the door to high-speed payments, DeFi, and gaming that still settle back to $BTC. That pitch appears to be landing. The $HYPER presale has already attracted more than $29M in commitments as investors look for exposure to a pure Bitcoin L2 narrative rather than another general-purpose L1. Bitcoin Hyper Channels $BTC Belief Into High-Speed Utility Bitcoin Hyper’s core promise is straightforward: take Bitcoin’s brand and security, bolt on SVM performance, and give $BTC holders something meaningful to do on-chain. For you, that means wrapped $BTC payments that finalize…

Base Opens Native Cross-Chain Channel to Solana

Base Opens Native Cross-Chain Channel to Solana

The post Base Opens Native Cross-Chain Channel to Solana appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Blockchain A major shift in cross-chain connectivity has emerged as Coinbase’s Layer-2 network, Base, quietly steps into Solana territory. Key Takeaways Base has created a native, CCIP-secured corridor directly to Solana. Users can move SOL into Base apps and return assets without external tools. Developers gain simplified multi-chain tooling to support Solana inside Base. Instead of relying on unofficial portals or improvising multi-step transfers, users now have a direct, native route between the two ecosystems. The connection is secured through Chainlink’s CCIP protocol, which acts as the verification layer for every message that travels between the chains. For Base, this isn’t just a bridge — it’s a statement that the network wants to position itself at the center of a new multi-chain era where switching blockchains becomes as trivial as switching browser tabs. A New Cross-Chain Flow Built for Everyday Users Until now, the gap between Solana and Base functioned like a border crossing: possible, but inconvenient. The new system eliminates that friction. SOL holders can push assets onto Base, experiment with dApps built in the Ethereum environment, and send everything back to Solana whenever they want — all through a process designed to feel native on both ends. Because several Base applications have already adopted the integration, users no longer need separate wallets or external bridges. It’s a multi-chain experience designed to look like a single ecosystem rather than two networks stitched together. The moment also aligns with Chainlink’s rising footprint among institutions, following its recent inclusion in a Grayscale ETF. CCIP, once seen as a developer-focused tool, is increasingly powering real infrastructure. Developers Gain an Easier Path to Multi-Chain Design Developers on Base now have access to code templates and open-source materials allowing them to add Solana support with minimal effort. This creates a new design philosophy: let…
