Oracle

Oracles are essential infrastructure components that feed real-time, off-chain data (such as price feeds, weather, or sports results) into blockchain smart contracts. Without decentralized oracles like Chainlink and Pyth, DeFi could not function. In 2026, oracles have evolved to support verifiable randomness and cross-chain data synchronization. This tag covers the technical evolution of data availability, tamper-proof price feeds, and the critical role oracles play in ensuring the deterministic execution of complex decentralized applications.

Oracle stock surges by over 3% as S&P 500 closes above 6,600 for the first time

The post Oracle stock surges by over 3% as S&P 500 closes above 6,600 for the first time appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Oracle jumped over 3% on Monday, moving with serious momentum after Donald Trump’s White House confirmed a preliminary TikTok deal was reached during U.S.-China trade talks in Madrid. The S&P 500 also closed above 6,600 for the first time in history. The deal isn’t finished, but Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the two governments had agreed on a framework, and Trump and Xi Jinping will speak on Friday to finalize it. No American buyer for TikTok has officially been named yet, but Oracle is now seen as the front-runner. Shares in the company shot up as much as 5% in premarket after Trump posted about the deal on Truth Social, calling the trade meeting “VERY WELL!” and saying a deal was reached for a “certain” company that “young people in our Country very much wanted to save.” The stock eased back during the day but still ended up more than 3%. Oracle already holds TikTok’s U.S. user data Oracle’s connection to TikTok isn’t new. As Cryptopolitan previously reported, the company already stores American TikTok user data through Project Texas, an arrangement that started around 2022. The app needs to sell to a U.S.-allied company before September 17 or face a ban. Trump, now in his second term, said he may push the deadline again. But as it stands, Oracle has both the infrastructure and political backing to close a deal quickly. The White House had looked at a deal earlier this year where Oracle would run TikTok, reported Politico, though The Information noted that the plan might still give ByteDance, the Chinese parent company, some control. That part of the arrangement hasn’t been made public. Other bidders include a group of investors led by Frank McCourt Jr., Microsoft, Mr. Beast, and Perplexity AI, but none have the existing setup Oracle…

World’s 3 richest people are now worth as much as Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway

World’s 3 richest people are now worth as much as Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway

The post World’s 3 richest people are now worth as much as Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Berkshire Hathaway’s trillionaire threshold is yet to be achieved by a single wealthy person. However, the three wealthiest people have filled the trillion-dollar gap. According to Bloomberg, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg are now rivaling Berkshire’s $1.07 billion market cap. As of Friday, Elon Musk was worth $419 billion, Larry Ellison was worth $349 billion, and Mark Zuckerberg was worth $265 billion. Together, the three billionaires are worth $1.03 trillion, which is close to Berkshire’s market cap and comfortably surpasses the $800 billion-plus market values of JPMorgan, Walmart, and Oracle. As is market knowledge, Berkshire Hathaway generates around $370 billion in annual revenue and employs nearly 400,000 workers. Ellison and Zuckerberg increase their fortune, Musk loses $14bn Musk, Ellison, and Zuckerberg are worth so much because they’re the companies’ biggest shareholders. Musk owns about 13% of Tesla and 42% of SpaceX, Ellison holds about a 41% stake in Oracle, and Zuckerberg has around a 13% stake in Meta. The trio has also hugely increased their wealth as a group.  Three of them have seen their fortunes balloon in recent years due to investor optimism around AI’s potential to slash corporations’ costs and supercharge their profitability. Ellison’s net worth has nearly doubled, increasing by $157 billion as Oracle stock has soared over 75% since January 1. Also, Zuckerberg’s wealth has jumped by $58 billion, fueled by Meta stock’s 29% gain in 2025. However, Musk’s fortune has shrunk by $14 billion this year, mostly from the displeasure with his involvement with the DOGE department under Trump. Meanwhile, Oracle’s stock price climbed as much as 43% last Wednesday alone, lifting the company’s market value by nearly $300 billion at its peak. This is after it projected rapid revenue growth fueled by AI demand.…

Can blockchain handle Wall St volume?

Can blockchain handle Wall St volume?

The post Can blockchain handle Wall St volume? appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Homepage > News > Business > The scaling question: Can blockchain handle Wall St volume? In 2023, the average number of daily trades on the United States stock exchanges was 74 million. The volume topped $500 billion on most days. In February 2025, CME broke its own record with a staggering 67.1 million transactions in one day. On September 3rd, 2025, the NASDAQ reported 52 million trades in a single day—nearly half of what all Ethereum layer twos combined can handle. With Wall Street embracing tokenization and trading apps like Robinhood (NASDAQ: HOOD) announcing their tokenized stock trading, it’s time to face an important question: Can any blockchain handle the transaction throughput required to make tokenization at scale a reality? Popular public blockchains won’t cut it I’ve said repeatedly that private blockchains are pointless. There’s no need to rehash that here; it’s enough to note that blockchains are databases, and having thousands of them is not different from having as many intranets or Oracle databases. However, today’s popular blockchains can’t handle even a fraction of what the two big United States exchanges would require. That’s an objective statement. Ethereum can handle 20 transactions per second (TPS) on the base layer, and Solana can process a few thousand on a good day. Even with its stitched-together network of layer 2 solutions, Ethereum can just about process 250 TPS. In June, all layer 2s combined processed 21 million transactions in one day, just shy of half of the trades on the NASDAQ yesterday. The scary part is there’s no reason to believe Ethereum will get better, that its scaling roadmap will work, or that all the problems rollups and layer twos introduced can be solved. Failed transactions, bridge hacks, and fragmented liquidity will likely remain the norm as long as blockchains rely…

Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in as the Total Market Cap Hits $4T Again

The post Top Cryptocurrencies to Invest in as the Total Market Cap Hits $4T Again appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. With the global crypto market reaching the $4 trillion mark again, investor attention is turning towards the ventures behind all the fuss in this latest wave of growth. While XRP holds its ground, Mutuum Finance (MUTM), a brand-new coin, is taking the market by storm. This cheap altcoin at just $0.035 has been supported by more than 16,300 investors. Placing itself at the intersection of DeFi innovation and tokenomics scalability, Mutuum Finance is ready to emerge as a market leading player in a saturated niche.  XRP Holds Ground as Market Regains $4 Trillion XRP trades above $3, showing intraday price action at $3.02 to $3.18 as the whole cryptocurrency market exceeds the $4 trillion threshold. The token continues to hold its spot in the market discussion of cross-border payment and institutional adoption, with traders waiting to see if increased liquidity across the entire market cycle can drive its next action. While XRP holds firm in this position, other initiatives such as Mutuum Finance are also attracting investor attention.  Mutuum Finance Stage 6 Momentum Investors are freely buying MUTM tokens at $0.035 in Stage 6 of the presale. Stage 7, which is the close-up, is approaching, and demand is still growing. More than 16,300 investors have accumulated tokens to this point, and the project has raised more than $15.8 million, a definite indicator that market demand is great and launch expectations are growing. Accuracy in Price Discovery For borrow, lend, and liquidation security, Mutuum Finance utilizes Chainlink oracles for token prices for tokens such as ETH, MATIC, and AVAX. Fallback oracle parameters, composite data feeds, and time-weighted averages of decentralized exchanges are backed up for higher accuracy. The multi-layer process ensures that price information will be as uniform as possible regardless of highly stressful market conditions. Market volatility directly affects collateral…

Beyond the Ten Blue Links: How Generative AI Rewires Our Brains for Search

Generative AI isn't just a new feature in search; it's a fundamental psychological shift. By providing direct, synthesized answers, it caters to our brain's deep-seated desire to reduce cognitive load and trust authoritative narratives. This "great untraining" is rendering the classic marketing playbook obsolete. For businesses, developers, and marketers, the battle is no longer for clicks on blue links, but for becoming a trusted, citable source inside the AI's "brain." The age of persuasion is ending; the age of becoming a machine-readable source of truth has begun.
