Can You Still Move Crypto Off HTX From Your Country?
European Union, EEA and Switzerland.
EU operators have been barred from transactions with the entity the European Union lists as HTX (Huobi Global SA) since August 23, 2026, under the sanctions package adopted on July 23, 2026.
The Block reported that eligible EU, EEA and Swiss nationals and residents may seek authorisation to withdraw funds or close accounts, and that they must apply within three months of the ban taking effect.
Anyone in that position should treat the timing of a withdrawal as a legal question first and take advice from the competent authority in their country.
MEXC is not the answer for these readers: it does not hold a MiCA authorisation and appears on ESMA's register of non-compliant entities following a decision by the Dutch AFM in September 2025.
