Crypto wallet provider Exodus has unveiled XO Cash, a stablecoin built on the Solana blockchain, designed to enable autonomous AI agents to handle payments securely. The launch on May 8, 2026, also includes the AgentKit developer toolkit, simplifying wallet creation and payment management for AI systems.

XO Cash integrates with Exodus Pay, allowing users to fund AI-linked wallets while retaining custody of their private keys. Developers can assign spending limits, merchant restrictions, and issue virtual debit cards linked to Visa payment rails. Payments made using XO Cash are automatically converted into stablecoins like USDC or USDT at checkout, with no transaction fees, making it ideal for high-frequency automated use cases.

Exodus partnered with MoonPay and Monavate to provide the infrastructure for Visa merchant transactions. The stablecoin and its accompanying developer documentation are now live at XOCash.com.
