MANILA, Philippines – Singer-songwriter syd hartha returns to Rappler Live Jam on Saturday, March 21!

Now a household name in the local music scene, syd hartha made her debut as a recording artist in 2018 with the hit track “tila tala.” With succeeding releases such as “iglap,” “ayaw,” “paruparo,” and “kung nag-aatubili,” to name a few, she has, over the years, established her repertoire in the folk-pop genre.

In 2023, she released her first EP, gabay, and has stayed true to her reputation of showcasing vulnerability through her music — no matter how scary it feels at first.

The young artist’s latest drop is the single “ako naman muna,” where she talks about the complexities of a romantic relationship and the realization that she needed to put herself first.
