Locking Mechanism

Algorand's PPoS consensus is unique because it does not require tokens to be locked or bonded for basic network participation. This ensures that assets remain liquid and can be spent at any time.

• Governance Commitment: To earn governance rewards, users must commit a specific amount of ALGO for a 90-day (3-month) period.
