Growthpoint Properties and Tricolt officially marked the groundbreaking of Olympus Sandton on Thursday, 26 February 2026, as the development prepares to redefine the skyline at the highest point of the Sandton Summit precinct.
The ceremony confirms that momentum behind the project has not slowed since its explosive sales launch. Having released apartments in February 2025, the development has already secured sales for more than 85% of its 527 units valued at R1.4 billion, leaving only 80 residences available.
Designed by international award-winning architects Clark Hopkins Clark, together with dhk Architects, Olympus will consist of two sculptural towers:
The Athena (24 floors, 283 apartments) and The Apollo (20 floors, 244 apartments).
The hospitality-led scheme will feature a signature Marble Hospitality restaurant, a sky bar, a boutique hotel, and a street-level Pantry by Marble deli.
With earthworks well advanced and piling scheduled for mid-March 2026, Barrow Construction is on site to deliver the project.
The development occupies the highest elevation in the Sandton Summit precinct, offering panoramic 360-degree views over Africa’s financial hub.
