Simply Wall St has built a loyal following by turning complex financial data into visual, easy to understand stock analysis. Its snowflake chart and colour-coded scoring system make it popular with investors who want a quick visual read on any stock without digging through spreadsheets.

KnockoutStocks takes a different approach. It combines AI-powered research tools, a proprietary stock scoring system, curated stock picks, and portfolio tracking into one complete platform built for investors who want data-driven insights and AI assistance. Both platforms aim to simplify stock research — but the tools they offer and the depth they go to are very different.

Platform Overview

What Is KnockoutStocks?

KnockoutStocks is an AI-powered stock research platform built around the KO Score — a proprietary ranking system that scores stocks from 0 to 100. It evaluates every stock across five pillars: profitability, financial health, growth, momentum, and analyst confidence.

The platform includes an AI investment coach, instant AI stock reports, an advanced stock screener, curated stock picks, portfolio tracking, and personalized market news. It is designed to give investors fast, clear, data-driven insights without needing to juggle multiple tools or subscriptions.

What Is Simply Wall St?

Simply Wall St is a stock research platform founded in 2014 and based in Australia. It is best known for its snowflake chart — a visual five-pointed diagram that scores stocks across value, future performance, past performance, financial health, and dividends.

The platform covers stocks across global markets and is designed to make fundamental analysis visually accessible. It is popular with beginner and intermediate investors who prefer a visual approach to understanding stock quality rather than reading through raw financial data.

Feature Comparison

Stock Research and Scoring

Simply Wall St scores every stock using its snowflake chart across five dimensions: value, future performance, past performance, financial health, and dividends. Each dimension gets a score and the overall shape of the snowflake gives you a quick visual read on the stock. It is genuinely clever design that makes fundamental data easy to absorb at a glance.

KnockoutStocks uses the KO Score — a single number from 0 to 100 that combines five weighted pillars: profitability, financial health, growth, momentum, and analyst confidence. Rather than a visual shape, you get one clear ranking that tells you exactly where a stock stands relative to the rest of the market. Both approaches simplify complex data, but the KO Score adds market momentum and analyst confidence factors that Simply Wall St’s snowflake does not capture as directly.

AI Tools and Insights

KnockoutStocks is built around AI as a core feature. The AI coach lets you ask questions about individual stocks, your portfolio, or market trends at any time. Higher-tier plans include voice AI access and unlimited daily queries throughout the day.

Simply Wall St has introduced an AI assistant called Snowflake AI that can answer basic questions about stocks and explain financial data. It is a useful addition, but it functions more as a data explainer than a full investment coach. It does not offer the depth of portfolio analysis or market trend insights that the KnockoutStocks AI coach provides.

AI-Generated Stock Reports

KnockoutStocks generates instant AI stock reports for any stock on demand. Each report covers company overview, financial health, key metrics, market performance, recent news, and analyst sentiment — all pulled together in seconds.

KnockoutStocks Report

Simply Wall St generates narrative-style company reports that explain the stock’s fundamentals in plain language. These are well written and easy to understand, but they are based on a fixed template rather than a fully dynamic AI-generated report. You get a good summary but not the same level of on-demand depth that KnockoutStocks delivers.

Stock Picks

KnockoutStocks offers a curated, high-conviction stock portfolio hand-selected by its research team. Every stock earns its place through rigorous research, sector analysis, and real-world investment logic based on fundamental strength, durable competitive advantage, and long-term growth potential.

The portfolio is actively monitored and positions are only changed when the data demands it. Full access to the Stock Picks pages — including current holdings, performance tracking, and the full reasoning behind every position — is available to Middleweight and Heavyweight members.

Simply Wall St does not offer a curated stock picks portfolio built and tracked by an in-house research team. It provides screening and discovery tools to help you find stocks yourself, but there is no high-conviction portfolio with documented reasoning behind each position. Investors who want a researched starting point alongside their own analysis will find KnockoutStocks more useful here.

Global Market Coverage

This is an area where Simply Wall St has a notable advantage. It covers stocks across more than 50 global markets including the US, UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia. For investors who research international stocks regularly, this breadth of coverage is genuinely valuable.

KnockoutStocks is focused on the US stock market. If your investing is primarily US-based, this is not a limitation. But investors with a strong interest in international markets will find Simply Wall St covers more ground geographically.

Stock Screener

KnockoutStocks includes an advanced screener with over 20 filters covering KO Score, market cap, price, volume, fundamental metrics, and technical indicators. Full screener access is available on the free plan.

KnockoutStocks Screener

Simply Wall St has a screener that lets you filter by snowflake scores, valuation, financial health, dividend data, and analyst forecasts across global markets. It is visually clean and easy to use but does not go as deep on technical indicators or offer a momentum-based filter like the KO Score. Most advanced screener features require a paid subscription.

Portfolio Tracking

KnockoutStocks has a full portfolio tracker with real-time performance data, profit and loss tracking, and AI-powered portfolio analysis. The Heavyweight plan supports up to 100 stocks per portfolio with unlimited portfolios and AI-generated portfolio reports.

Simply Wall St has a portfolio tool that overlays its snowflake scores and narrative analysis onto your holdings. It gives you a visual overview of your portfolio’s fundamental health but does not offer real-time profit and loss tracking or AI-driven portfolio analysis at the same depth as KnockoutStocks.

Alerts and Updates

KnockoutStocks sends personalized daily or weekly email alerts covering watchlist movements, top KO Score movers, earnings announcements, analyst upgrades, and breaking news tailored to your holdings.

Simply Wall St sends alerts for significant changes in a stock’s snowflake score, analyst forecast updates, and company news. The alerts are useful for monitoring fundamental shifts in stocks you follow but are not as comprehensive or personalized as the KnockoutStocks alert system.

Pricing

KnockoutStocks offers three tiers. The free plan includes full screener access, one portfolio, five watchlist stocks, one AI chat per week, and one AI stock report per week. The Middleweight plan is $19.99 per month with 10 AI queries per day and 10 AI reports per week. The Heavyweight plan is $59.99 per month with unlimited AI access, voice coaching, PDF reports, and CSV exports.

Simply Wall St pricing starts at around $10 per month for the basic plan and goes up to around $20 per month for the premium plan with full access. It is competitively priced, though the free tier is quite limited. Annual billing brings the cost down further.

Which Platform Is Best for Different Investors?

Use KnockoutStocks if you:

Want a complete AI-powered research platform that covers stock scoring, instant reports, portfolio tracking, and curated stock picks all in one place. KnockoutStocks is built to be your full research environment.

Want AI-powered tools on demand — asking questions about stocks, getting instant reports, and analyzing your portfolio without needing to piece together information from multiple sources.

Want access to a carefully researched, high-conviction stock picks portfolio built on real fundamentals and long-term thinking. Middleweight and Heavyweight members get full access including performance tracking and the reasoning behind every position.

Are primarily a US stock investor who wants the most powerful combination of fundamental scoring, AI tools, and portfolio tracking available in one platform.

Use Simply Wall St if you:

Prefer a visual approach to stock research and find the snowflake chart a useful way to quickly assess stock quality across five dimensions. The visual design is genuinely one of the best in the industry for making data accessible.

Invest across international markets and need coverage beyond US stocks. Simply Wall St’s global reach across 50-plus markets is a real advantage for internationally focused investors.

Are a beginner investor who wants clean, simple, visually presented fundamental data without being overwhelmed by complex tools or raw financial metrics.

Are primarily a dividend investor who wants a simple visual breakdown of dividend health and payout consistency across global markets.

Final Verdict

Simply Wall St and KnockoutStocks both do a good job of making stock research more accessible, but they serve different investors and different needs.

Simply Wall St wins on visual design, global market coverage, and accessibility for beginners. The snowflake chart is one of the most intuitive ways to assess a stock at a glance, and its international coverage is hard to match for investors who research stocks outside the US.

KnockoutStocks wins on AI tools, research depth, stock picks, portfolio tracking, and overall feature value. The KO Score covers more factors than the snowflake, the AI coach and instant reports add genuine intelligence to your research process, and the curated stock picks give you a researched starting point that Simply Wall St does not offer.

For US-focused investors who want a smarter, more complete research platform powered by AI in 2026 — KnockoutStocks delivers more at every level. Simply Wall St is a great entry point and remains the better choice for visual learners and international investors, but for depth, AI capability, and a full research workflow, KnockoutStocks is the stronger platform.

Fed rate decision September 2025

Fed rate decision September 2025

The post Fed rate decision September 2025 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. WASHINGTON – The Federal Reserve on Wednesday approved a widely anticipated rate cut and signaled that two more are on the way before the end of the year as concerns intensified over the U.S. labor market. In an 11-to-1 vote signaling less dissent than Wall Street had anticipated, the Federal Open Market Committee lowered its benchmark overnight lending rate by a quarter percentage point. The decision puts the overnight funds rate in a range between 4.00%-4.25%. Newly-installed Governor Stephen Miran was the only policymaker voting against the quarter-point move, instead advocating for a half-point cut. Governors Michelle Bowman and Christopher Waller, looked at for possible additional dissents, both voted for the 25-basis point reduction. All were appointed by President Donald Trump, who has badgered the Fed all summer to cut not merely in its traditional quarter-point moves but to lower the fed funds rate quickly and aggressively. In the post-meeting statement, the committee again characterized economic activity as having “moderated” but added language saying that “job gains have slowed” and noted that inflation “has moved up and remains somewhat elevated.” Lower job growth and higher inflation are in conflict with the Fed’s twin goals of stable prices and full employment.  “Uncertainty about the economic outlook remains elevated” the Fed statement said. “The Committee is attentive to the risks to both sides of its dual mandate and judges that downside risks to employment have risen.” Markets showed mixed reaction to the developments, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up more than 300 points but the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite posting losses. Treasury yields were modestly lower. At his post-meeting news conference, Fed Chair Jerome Powell echoed the concerns about the labor market. “The marked slowing in both the supply of and demand for workers is unusual in this less dynamic…
