What Is the Shared Assets Feature for P2P Advertising?
MEXC has introduced a shared asset feature for P2P advertising. This allows P2P makers to post multiple sell ads using a single pool of assets to maximize asset efficiency and gain more exposure.
How It Works
When the shared asset function is activated, posting a sell-type advertisement will not freeze the corresponding asset quantity. Your assets will only be frozen when an order is placed. If you transfer assets out of your Fiat account and the remaining available balance is less than the ad quantity, the ad quantity will be reduced accordingly.
For example, assume you have an available balance of 100 USDT in your Fiat account. Starting Feb 28, 2026, with the shared assets function, you can post multiple sell ads (each ≤ 100 USDT) at the same time, without having to transfer additional assets.
If you post Ad A for 100 USDT (minimum order: 0.5 USDT) and Ad B for 100 USDT (minimum order: 10 USDT), and a buyer places a 99 USDT order on Ad A:
- Remaining available balance: 1 USDT
- Ad B's tradable quantity becomes 1 USDT
Since Ad B's minimum order limit is 10 USDT, it will be hidden from the marketplace, due to insufficient available balance.
If the order for Ad A is canceled:
- 99 USDT is released back to your available balance
- Ad B's tradable quantity is restored
- Both ads become visible again
- Ad ranking is not affected
If the order on Ad A is completed:
- Your remaining balance stays at 1 USDT
- Since this is below Ad B's minimum order limit (10 USDT), Ad B will be hidden
Important Notes
- This feature applies only to sell-type ads. Buy-type ads are not affected.
- No additional settings are required. This function will be enabled from Feb 28, 2026.
- Existing sell ads posted before Feb 28, 2026 will continue using the previous asset mode. If you'd like to post new sell ads under the shared assets mode, you're recommended to delete your existing ads first, and repost them to utilize the maximum amount of assets in your Fiat account.
- If you transfer more assets to your Fiat account after posting ads, the original ad quantity will remain unchanged.
