Ondo Finance Abandons Layer 1 Plan and Launches High-Speed, Privacy-Focused Ondo Network
According to Odaily, Ondo Finance has abandoned its traditional Layer 1 blockchain plan and launched Ondo Network, an institutional trading network focused on private, high-speed execution. Its first application, Ondo Perps, allows users to trade perpetual futures using tokenized assets as collateral while separating fast, private execution from public-chain settlement. Having previously issued tokenized U.S. Treasuries and equities, Ondo’s strategic focus is now shifting from an underlying blockchain toward institutional-grade tokenized asset trading infrastructure.
Emirates Launches Crypto.com Pay for Cryptocurrency Payments
According to Odaily, Emirates has introduced Crypto.com Pay on its website and mobile application, allowing eligible UAE residents to pay for flights priced in UAE dirhams using cryptocurrency. Mobile users are redirected to the Crypto.com App to authorize payments, while desktop users can complete transactions by scanning a QR code. Payments are processed by Crypto.com’s Dubai entity, which holds a Stored Value Facilities license from the Central Bank of the UAE. The service stems from a memorandum signed in July 2025 and is not yet available in other regions.
Beezie Raises $4 Million With Participation From Psalion
According to Odaily, Beezie has raised $4 million, with Psalion participating through its early-stage Psalion VC Fund III. Beezie creates on-chain digital twins for physical goods, making the assets programmable, tradable, and composable across different use cases. It also uses gamification to turn physical-goods trading into an interactive consumer experience. The new funding will primarily support global expansion. The project reflects how real-world assets are expanding beyond financial instruments into collectibles, consumer goods, and interactive commerce.
AI Trading Agents Could Outnumber Human Traders Within Two Years as Nansen Rebuilds Its On-Chain Platform
According to Odaily, Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik expects AI trading agents to outnumber human traders within approximately two years. Nansen is evolving from a purely on-chain analytics tool into a platform capable of executing trades directly, with its agent-focused trading functions already generating more than $500 million in cumulative volume.
