MEXC Supports LZ Compensation Plan for Affected Users

According to LZ's official announcement, they will carry out airdrops of RD, the newly issued tokens, to users who were affected by the contract hack. To reduce losses for affected users, MEXC supports the compensation plan with the following arrangements:


1. Compensation Plan for Users Before the Attack:

LZ holders will receive RD airdrops based on their LZ balances snapshotted. Details are as follows:
  • Snapshot time: at block 26024419, 2023-02-27 07:32:36 (UTC)
  • Airdrop ratio: 1 LZ : 1 RD
  • Distribution has been completed. You can check airdrops in your [Wallet>Spot].
II. Compensation Plan for Users after the Attack:
For users with a net buying amount of LZ greater than 0 USDT between 2023-02-27 07:32:36 and 2023-02-28 05:00:00 (UTC), the project team plans to conduct airdrops monthly at a ratio of 1.79 LZ: 1 RD and complete the whole airdrops in the following 15 months.


Considering that the airdrop period of the above plan is relatively long and RD trading is unavailable on MEXC, to protect users' interests to a greater extent, MEXC decides to use the Investor Protection Fund to airdrop USDT for eligible users.

MEXC conducts USDT airdrops at the price of 1 LZ = 0.098 USDT (the price when LZ trading ceased) based on their net buying amount of LZ.

The USDT airdrops have been completed. You can check airdrops in your [Wallet>Spot].

Please note:
  • Snapshot scope only covers Spot accounts. The LZ holdings in sub-accounts will be included in their main account when snapshots are taken.
  • The snapshot balances do not include the LZ assets that have not arrived in the destination accounts, are in the withdrawal process, or are already sold in spot trades at snapshot time.
  • Deposits, withdrawals, and trading for LZ have been closed;
  • LZ will be delisted at 2023-05-19 14:00 (UTC);
  • OR trading is not available on MEXC. RD withdrawals are enabled. You can withdraw RD to other platforms.
